Custom-build Furnished Home At 130 Palm Ave

Sometimes you walk into a place and, honestly, it just hits different. That was my feeling at 130 Palm Ave. This custom build on Palm Island actually made me stop for a second right near the front just to take in all the little things. One of the rooms at the back has these giant windows. I tried just sitting with a coffee there, watching the sun sneak through, picking out the Miami skyline in the distance. Later, I checked out the theater and I could picture movie night with the family or friends – seats are plush and the sound just kind of wraps around you.

The open Club room upstairs is maybe my favorite space in the whole house. It is huge and bright and flows right out to the rooftop pool. Imagine the end of a long week, water cool on your ankles, someone grilling in the background, and the city lights flickering beyond the glass. And nobody staring over the walls because this is Palm Island, so it stays peaceful and private. You have a rooftop terrace too, where honestly, at sunset, Downtown Miami and South Beach turn gold and pink. I stood up there for a while, just breathing it in.

If you like to stay active or have guests coming from out of town, the detached guest house is actually separate from the main villa but only a few steps over the garden. It has its own gym and a therapy room that feels quiet enough for some proper downtime. There is even a spot for massages or reading away from everyone. Cars are looked after too, with a four car garage and lifts, so parking is never a worry.

One thing you really feel here is that the home works with you. Everything is fully automatic. You have Crestron smart screens in the hallway and Lutron keypads that dim the lights at night with just a tap. I could see myself just sinking into one of the living rooms, changing the music without needing to hunt for a remote. The kitchen setup is proper for cooking – marble tops that stay clean, a hidden butlers kitchen if you want to keep things neat for guests, and plenty of space for real dinners at home. Sometimes new builds put style over feeling, but here it is both. Even the laundry room gets sunlight, and you'll notice the closets actually look like ones you would see in Italian homes, deep and fitted out with real attention.

Outside, the area has that classic Florida warmth. Neighbors wave, sometimes you spot kids cycling, and on weekends, you can head into Miami Beach or just grab a slow coffee nearby. Safety is solid too, since Palm Island is gated and police protected – honestly, you do sleep easier at night. Wine lovers get a marble wine display for the good bottles. Art lovers will probably want to change up the lighting just a bit, but there are so many options for hanging pieces. The finishes are so natural you won't get tired of looking at the same views every day.

This home isn't really about showing off, it's about feeling at ease and having everybody together under one roof with space to breathe.
