The first thing that strikes you as you come through the door is just how much of the sea you see. It is right there in front of you and honestly I spent a few minutes just looking out at the water and listening to the subtle quiet you only get this close to the coast. The Marbella light plays through every window and sometimes it leaves the place softly gold at sunrise or brings in this orange pink haze as the sun sets behind Gibraltar. The whole atmosphere changes hour by hour but always manages to feel somehow peaceful. What really surprised me was the main living space. It is more open than most beachfront apartments I see on the Costa del Sol. There is a lounge that feels casual and generous plus doors straight out to the balcony. That spot is a quiet favorite of mine. Even if you just bring out some coffee and sit a bit it is hard not to relax. Estepona does that to you honestly. The sound of the Mediterranean is never far.
