The sea is just there in front of you and the first thing you think is there is more space here than you expect from an apartment in Dubai. You look out across the skyline and sometimes it feels like you are a little closer to the water than anyone else. The living room is bigger than you first guess from photos and the light kind of tumbles in through these big windows. I sat on the sofa for a minute and just watched the sunlight catch the water outside. The layout just makes sense. There are three proper bedrooms here so every family member will feel like they have room. The master bedroom feels peaceful and the windows are tall so you wake up to actual sea views instead of just a slice over rooftops. Each room has built in wardrobes that actually make sense for how people live so no tripping over suitcases. It is all a bit private in the right way so if you have people over or if you want to chill on your own it always feels comfortable.&nbsp; Now the kitchen surprised me because it is not just a kitchen that looks good for Instagram. It feels like somewhere you could actually make a big meal on the weekend. The island is wide enough for a few people to pull up a stool or for someone to help chop up dinner with you. All the appliances are state of the art so whether you want to try new recipes or just heat up leftovers from last night you are set. The dining area melts into the living room so you can be part of things no matter what is going on. You notice little details too. Good taps. The fridge actually holds a proper grocery shop. Out on the balcony it just goes quiet and you realize you almost forgot your phone. Standing there looking at the Arabian Gulf you can kind of see how Palm Jumeirah earned its reputation as one of Dubai's most iconic places to live. Atlantis The Royal Residences just has that resort feel but it is real life here. Sometimes you walk down to your own stretch of private beach after work just to feel the sand and not hear traffic for a while. The infinity pools are something else and you will find yourself looking for an excuse to use them even when it is not that hot. There is a world class spa downstairs for when you need a proper switch off. If you are into food the building has Michelin starred restaurants so dinner at home can be something special without even leaving the lobby. You also notice how Palm Jumeirah is always buzzing but you never feel in the middle of chaos when you get home. The shopping and entertainment is nearby so you can get what you need without a car every time. Coffee shop is just down in the neighborhood and I noticed people heading out with takeaway mugs in the mornings. Sometimes you see kids biking round in the evenings and it just feels lived in. Honestly I do not think photos tell the whole story with this place. It is more about the energy you feel in person and whether you picture yourself here.
