Some homes just surprise you with how much space actually feels like opportunity. The Jaramillo Mansion in Panama is like that. I remember walking up the long driveway with the trees kind of rustling above and honestly it felt more like discovering a hidden retreat than arriving at a house. You notice right away it is private out here in Jaramillo Centro which actually feels rare so close to town. Walk just a few minutes down the road and you are in the center of Boquete, picking up coffee in the morning or getting groceries before heading home with fresh mountain air all around you. What you get here is over ten thousand square feet to really make your own. Right now it feels like a big family home with five bedrooms and that huge master suite that takes over the full upper level. There is even a balcony out the back where if you wake up early enough you see clouds moving over Volcan Baru and sometimes you will even spot little patches of mist drifting over the valley. I actually stood there for a minute and could hear birds everywhere. It is just so peaceful up on the balcony you probably forget about your phone for a bit. You walk inside through these grand stained glass doors and it does feel kind of cinematic. There is this sweeping staircase that curves up overhead and a living area beneath these crazy high ceilings where your voice actually echoes a little. Someone once told me that is how you know a space is really something special. There is a big stone fireplace in the middle that makes you just want to sink into a chair with a hot drink in the evening especially on cooler Boquete nights. The space opens straight out to a covered terrace where honestly the views kind of catch you off guard. On a clear day you see Boquete spread out below Volcan Baru in the distance and all the way down toward the Pacific. I can picture small family gatherings here or maybe big group dinners that go a little late because no one wants to head inside. The kitchen is not just a show kitchen either. There is room for actual cooking here with granite counters three sinks and a butlers pantry off to the side where you can store everything. You get two ovens and plenty of cabinet space so whether you are making coffee before heading out hiking or hosting something bigger there is room to move and talk without tripping over each other. It just feels easy to be in this space. Upstairs is really where all the room comes in. The master suite is so big it almost feels like a small apartment. There are his and hers walk in closets big enough that you could honestly use one as a dressing room or even sneak away to read a book by the window. One closet even has its own balcony out front with mountain views again. There's a separate office tucked off the suite that you can reach straight from the bedroom or the indoor balcony. And if you have big plans or a big family this space could be split into more bedrooms or kept as one luxury retreat. You also have a laundry space an extra room for storage and another bonus space upstairs. Head down to the lower level and you can just see possibilities everywhere. You could build out a separate apartment here for extended family or for guests. There is enough space for workshops games movie nights or extra bedrooms. Multiple entry points make this so flexible and you also have the elevator shaft ready if someone ever needs a lift between floors. Outside the 360 degree views are real. Gardens wrap around the house and the whole property is gated with two electric gates and a proper two car garage. You get a five hundred gallon water reserve tank plus water filtration systems so you never have to worry about utilities. The plans for the whole place are ready and available if you want a closer look. Living in Chiriqui Boquete you get the best of quiet mountain life with an international feel. Neighbors wave in the evenings and it never takes long to get into town. People here seem to just take things a little slower. If you are looking for a big house to dream up something bigger this one is worth a look. The only way to know if it feels right is to come and see it for yourself. Drop me a message or call if you want to walk through and just talk it over. At LuxuryProperty dot com we try to make your next move feel as comfortable as possible.
