The light comes in soft through the windows. You end up just standing there for a moment breathing it all in. Once you step out onto the grounds you realize why people always talk about Palmeraie being this private green part of Marrakech. There are palms everywhere and all the city noise just feels like it is miles away even though the center is actually only a short drive. If you want good coffee or that classic Marrakech excitement of the souks you are basically ten minutes out. But when you come home the world is quiet. It is all your own.
