How do payment plans work for off-plan properties?
Payment Plans differ depending on the developer and what they have set for the projects. Most payment plans will start with a downpayment, from there it will be agreed based on construction progress percentage (%) which will determine when the next payment will be due. Post handover payment plans can also be available meaning you can be holding the keys to your propety and continue to pay the developer.
What is the role of DLD and RERA in off-plan property purchases?
DLD and RERA will regulate the project and it's Escrow Accounts to give buyers confidence their money is protected. They will also check progress add reports to each project on updated timelines for completion.

What happens after I reserve an off-plan property?
After processing your Expression of Interest (EOI) you will be allocated a unit based on your EOI request. If you confirm to proceed you will be requested to make the remaining deposit as per the payment plan. A Sales Purchase Agreement (SPA) will be drawn by the developer and signed with the next payment due as per the agreed payment plan.
