Investment Opportunities at the Dubai Property Festival

Written by Arpan Ghosh

Yesterday was the first day of the Dubai Property Festival, a three-day event that give Dubai’s real estate community a chance to network and showcases some of the best investment opportunities on the market. This one-of-a-kind event was conceived by the Dubai Land Department, in conjunction with the International Property Show (IPS).

While IPS is focused on the broader Middle East region, the Dubai Property Festival was devised specifically to focus on the city itself. Only a few months into 2018, there have already been several new launches of fantastic luxury residences that would make for ideal investments, ranging from locations such as Dubai Hills and the upcoming Dubai Harbour to the ever-popular Dubai Marina, which over the last year enjoyed yields of over 6%.
Investment Opportunities At The Dubai Property Festival
Taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the event brings together top developers, real estate brokerages, financial institutions, building material retailers and, of course, home buyers and investors, providing opportunities to learn more about the market and what it has to offer. Having weather global downturns, Dubai has proven to be a solid investment bet time and again, with investment yields at double, and sometimes triple, of what one might expect from other global cities such as London, Hong Kong and New York.

The Dubai Property Festival also offers very unique deals that won’t be available any other time of year. Emaar Properties, are waiving land registration fees on several of their off-plan projects. Other developers will be offering similar incentives during the event.
Dubai's Property Views
As Dubai’s property market continues to mature, there will be many more fantastic investment options coming to fruition, defined by stunning architecture, stylish designs, and some of the very best locations.

More investment and purchase opportunities can be discovered at Cityscape Global, the Middle East’s large property exhibition, which will take place in early October. The developer will be highlighting new projects and making announcements for future projects, which is especially exciting in the lead-up to Expo 2020.

If you’re planning to invest in property in Dubai, then here are a few things you might want to consider first.
