Dar Global

Dar Global is an international luxury real estate company with projects across the Middle East, Europe and other global markets. The business grew out of the international expansion of Dar Al Arkan, one of Saudi Arabia’s established property companies, before developing into a separately listed global platform.

The company is led by Chief Executive Officer Ziad El Chaar, who has overseen its growth across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Spain and the United Kingdom. Dar Global has become particularly associated with high value residences, international design collaborations and branded property.

Its approach is different from developers focused mainly on large suburban communities or high volume apartment construction. Dar Global generally works in established city districts, waterfront destinations and resort markets where location and design can support a more internationally positioned residential product.

Brand partnerships form a major part of that strategy. Missoni, Pagani, W Hotels, Aston Martin and The Trump Organization have all worked with Dar Global on projects across the UAE. These collaborations vary from interior design partnerships to fully branded residential and hospitality developments.

Dubai provided the starting point for much of the company’s growth. Urban Oasis by Missoni introduced its branded residence approach along Dubai Water Canal, followed by Da Vinci Tower with interiors by Pagani, W Residences Dubai Downtown and DG1 in Business Bay.

Urban Oasis has now been completed, giving Dar Global an established residential reference in Dubai rather than a portfolio made up entirely of off plan property. Da Vinci Tower also forms part of the completed side of the company’s Dubai activity.

The business has continued to expand into larger and more ambitious formats. Apartments remain important, but its current portfolio now includes villas, hotel residences, private clubs and major mixed use towers.

Dar Global Projects for sale in the UAE

Dar Global projects in the UAE are concentrated in Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah, with branded residences playing a central role across both markets.

DG1 Living Tower is one of the company’s main current projects in Business Bay. Positioned beside Dubai Water Canal, the tower is Dar Global’s own branded residential concept rather than a collaboration carrying the name of an outside lifestyle company. Its architecture gives the building a distinctive profile while keeping it within one of Dubai’s most established central residential districts.

Urban Oasis by Missoni provides an earlier example in the same part of the city. The completed tower combines canal side living with interiors influenced by the Italian fashion house, giving Dar Global a completed branded residence within the Business Bay property market.

W Residences Dubai Downtown takes a more hospitality led approach. Created with W Hotels, the project brings the brand’s service and design identity into a standalone residential building near Downtown Dubai. The development remains under construction and has been sold out at developer level.

The company’s current Dubai pipeline also includes D Villas at Jumeirah Golf Estates. The project shifts Dar Global away from apartments and into larger family homes within an established golf community. Four and five bedroom villas form the residential offering, giving the company exposure to a different buyer profile from its central Dubai towers.

Trump International Hotel & Tower Dubai represents the most significant expansion in scale. Located on Sheikh Zayed Road near Downtown Dubai, the project combines private residences with a hotel and members club. Construction progressed into its next phase during 2026, with completion planned for 2031.

Ras Al Khaimah adds another important part of the UAE portfolio through The Astera, Interiors by Aston Martin. Located on Al Marjan Island, the beachfront development brings the automotive brand’s design identity into residential interiors and gives Dar Global exposure to one of the UAE’s fastest growing resort property markets.

Dar Global therefore occupies a relatively specialised position within UAE property. Its strategy is not based on releasing large numbers of conventional residential buildings. Instead, the company combines prime locations with international brands and distinctive architecture, using Dubai as its main UAE base while expanding selectively into destinations such as Al Marjan Island.
