Al Barari

Al Barari is a Dubai based master developer best known for creating the nature led residential community that carries its name. Founded in 2005 by Zaal Mohamed Zaal, the company introduced a noticeably different approach to luxury real estate at a time when much of Dubai's premium residential growth was centred on waterfront towers, golf estates and large suburban master plans.

The original idea was to place landscape at the centre of the community rather than around its edges. This gradual evolution is one of the more distinctive aspects of Al Barari's approach. Al Barari Projects in Dubai

The Residences remains an important part of Al Barari's completed track record. Its large villas sit among established botanical gardens, lakes and waterways and helped define the spacious residential character associated with the community. The Reserve later offered bespoke villa plots, while The Nest introduced a more contemporary architectural language through a limited collection of family homes.

Seventh Heaven and Ashjar marked an important transition into apartments. Rather than pursuing conventional high rise living, both were designed around lower building forms and direct interaction with the surrounding greenery. Ixora represented another change in format. At the upper end of the villa market, Altissima comprises only 23 seven bedroom residences. The scheme is under construction and scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2026. Its limited scale and exceptionally large homes reflect Al Barari's continued involvement in Dubai's super prime villa segment. The original release is sold out, so current opportunities are primarily dependent on resale availability.

The Lofts broadens the apartment offering again. Located within the established community, the off plan scheme combines conventional apartments with loft style residences and is scheduled for completion in 2027. Its smaller home formats demonstrate how Al Barari is adapting to buyers who want access to the community's landscape and amenities without requiring a large villa.

The most significant current launch is The Cape at Al Barari. Planned as three low rise buildings containing 286 residences, The Cape offers one to four bedroom apartments and is scheduled for completion in 2028. It continues the low density architectural approach of Ashjar while placing renewed emphasis on wellness, landscaped courtyards and connection to the mature surroundings.
