BackThe festive season is in full swing in Dubai, with a plethora of activities lined up for the entire family. If you are in the city over the holiday, then here are some of the best festive celebrations to experience over the next couple of weeks.
Festive Celebrations at Arabian Ranches
Families living in and around Arabian Ranches will be able to enjoy the season with their loved ones at Arabian Ranches Golf Club. There will be gingerbread house workshops for children, festive quiz nights for adults, a tree lighting ceremony and of course, plenty of seasonal meals. Maison Mathis, one of the signature restaurants at Arabian Ranches, will also have a Winter Wonderland where children will be able to meet Santa himself.
Festive Markets
Umm Suqeim, best known for its beaches and as the home of the Burj Al Arab, will be hosting a few festive markets where you can pick up handcrafted gifts and enjoy plenty of activities for children. Kangaroo Kids Nursery, one of the more well-known daycare centers in the area, will be hosting a festive community fair with various activities such as cookie decorating and gift exchanges and the chance to take a themed photo with the family.

Of course, the season just wouldn’t be complete without a holiday party full of feasting and fun for the grown-ups. The Irish Village is an annual staple, with a full lineup of events including musical performances, a tree lighting ceremony and special holiday meals. Most of the hotels around the city will be having festive brunches and dinners over the next week or so. Fairmont the Palm will be hosting a festive ladies’ night and Nikki Beach has a special ladies’ day offer on Christmas Day.
