The famous beach club at the Atlantis offers private cabanas and sunbeds along with waterfront dining tables, all on a ‘first come first serve’ basis. Enjoy a wide selection of international delicacies while gazing out over the blue waters of the Arabian Gulf and listening to tunes chosen by the club DJ.

Dolphin Bay

Nasimi Beach may not be the most child-friendly option, especially after dark, but there are plenty of other great family activities at Atlantis, such as Dolphin Bay. Swim with the dolphins and get to know these wondrous marine animals like never before. You can even dive underwater with them, and there is a marine life specialist on hand to educate you about how to best interact with the dolphins and to ensure complete safety.

Aquaventure

One of the most famous attractions at the resort and known as the best waterpark in the Middle East, Aquaventure is filled with rides that are sure to get your adrenaline pumping. These include Poseidon’s Revenge and the infamous Leap of Faith, which features a near-vertical drop of 9 storeys. The park also contains a shark lagoon (with the sharks safely behind glass) and over 900 meters of private beach to relax and bring your heart rate back down.

Lost Chambers Aquarium

A trip to Atlantis is incomplete without visiting The Lost Chambers Aquarium. Inspired by the namesake of the resort, Lost Chambers is themed after the mythical city of Atlantis with decor that draws heavily from classical Greek architecture and has ruins and shipwrecks to fully immerse you in the atmosphere. The aquarium features over 65,000 marine animals including sharks, stingrays, piranhas, lobsters and seahorses, all of which are divided among 20 exhibits. You can enjoy an interactive tour that puts you in the shoes of a marine expert (with an actual expert there to guide you), allowing you to interact with many of the creatures firsthand and even feed some of them.

Five-Star Dining

Among them are Nobu, the renowned Japanese restaurant by Chef Nobu Matsuhisa and Ossiano, the famous underwater seafood restaurant that complements its elegant decor with glass walls that have a direct view of the Ambassador Lagoon and its incredible marine life. Other well-known outlets include Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen, Seafire Steakhouse and Italian restaurant Ronda Locatelli.
