Apartment Guide - Palm Jumeirah TrunkAugust 9, 2018
Whether you are looking for a studio to use as an occasional pied a terre or a penthouse that will be your primary Dubai residence, you will find exactly what you need on Palm Jumeirah. The famous man-made island contains a fantastic selection of apartments spread along its trunk and the sweeping Palm crescent. The apartments are divided between those by Nakheel (the developer behind Palm Jumeirah), other independent developers, and residential units associated with leading luxury hotel brands.
The apartments developed by Nakheel are located primarily on the trunk of the Palm, and consist of multi-building complexes.
A group of 20 mid-rise buildings stretching across the right side of the trunk, The Shoreline Apartments make up the largest development on Palm Jumeirah. The buildings are divided in half by a main road such that one side looks out over the sea and the other looks out onto the beautiful Al Ittihad Park. There over 2,600 units, comprising one, two and three-bedroom apartments, and the buildings on the right hand side also have some retail and dining outlets.
Golden MileOriginally developed by IFA Resorts, Golden Mile is currently managed by Nakheel and consists of 10 mixed-use buildings that are split between apartments, office spaces and retail outlets. The development, which runs parallel to one side of Shoreline, contains a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments plus a select few deluxe three-bed units. These are generally considered to be some of the largest apartments on the Palm. Residents have access to Al Ittihad Park and Golden Mile Galleria, a retail center that also contains select cafes and restaurants.
Located at the entryway of Palm Jumeirah, Azure Residences sits along the eastern side of the trunk. Offering one and two-bedroom apartments, Azure also features a selection of premium amenities including an infinity pool, a signature restaurant, a rooftop gym and direct beach access.
This is a group of six mid-rise buildings on the northern end of the trunk, set in two clusters of three on either side and bordering a yacht marina. The development comprises two and three-bedroom apartments as well as a collection of townhouses, enjoying direct access to the marina and its associated clubhouse.
Palm TowerA new development coming up on the center of the trunk’s north side, Palm Tower will be directly connected to the upcoming Nakheel Mall and will also feature the St. Regis The Palm along the first 18 floors of the building. The residential units will consist of furnished studios along with one, two and three-bedroom apartments.
Some of the other key apartment projects located along the trunk are:
Tiara is a cluster of 7 luxury apartment buildings on the northeastern side of the trunk. Developed by Zabeel Properties, it contains a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments plus a limited selection of 4-bedroom penthouses. Tiara offers private beach access, fitness and lifestyle amenities and the facilities of the 6-star Anantara Hotel & Spa.
Oceana by Seven Tides is a group of 7 residential buildings on the northwestern side of the trunk and forms a nice symmetry with Tiana. It is adjoined by Dukes Oceana, a luxury hotel and serviced residence project with a private beach and five-star amenities.
Fairmont is a gorgeous beach resort on the western end of the trunk with a look that draws some inspiration from traditional Arabian architecture. The hotel offers a complete range of world-class services and facilities including fitness centres and a dedicated event space. The residences are divided into elegant one and two-bedroom homes with impeccable finishes.
One of the most eagerly awaited developments on the Palm, One Palm is a stunning development by Omniyat that comprises three, four and five-bedroom apartments along with a fantastic selection of penthouses. The glass-fronted tower has a unique architectural design and enjoys sweeping views of the Palm, the Arabian Gulf, the Dubai Marina skyline and the upcoming Bluewaters Island. The hotel has a distinct silhouette thanks to its glass-fronted square arch gateway and has an elegant contemporary aesthetic. Those living at Five can enjoy exceptional amenities such as a pool courtyard, fitness facilities, concierge service, lounges and beach access.
Perhaps the most exclusive residential development on the Palm, Palme Couture by Innovate Living is a stunning low-rise tower that contains a total of just 14 residences, divided between apartments, townhouses, duplexes and one magnificent penthouse. With high-end marble finishes used throughout, including the pool and spa, along with wood, stone and other natural materials of the most impeccable quality, Palme Couture brings a grand Los Angeles-inspired lifestyle to Dubai.
