Some places just make you slow down a little when you walk in and this two bedroom apartment at Marylebone Square really does that. Maybe it is the way the light comes in from the terrace or how you catch just a bit of the city rooftops outside the window. Right away it feels open but private at the same time and honestly you can picture living here after just a few minutes standing in the main space. I took a walk from the kitchen all the way out to the terrace and you just sort of glide through the living area. The kitchen itself is actually very practical for London and it is not just for looking nice. Sturdy island in the middle where you can imagine chopping up breakfast and the counters are real stone and feel good under your hand. If you like cooking or even hosting, it is the kind of setup where your friends end up sitting across from you just chatting while you finish up a meal.
Both bedrooms here are more than just somewhere to sleep. Each one has what you would call a master feel and the wardrobes do not eat into the space. I opened them up quietly and you can actually hang up a full London winter coat without getting squished. En suite bathrooms in both suites, and you will notice the his and hers sinks which honestly just make getting ready in the mornings feel easy. The finish is proper, with taps that feel solid and the kind of shower you linger in on a cold day.
The terrace is something you probably will not find everywhere else in Marylebone. It is actually big enough for a table and a proper group of friends instead of just a couple of chairs. When I looked out, I could see a few birds hopping on nearby roofs and London just hums along quietly below. Some evenings I think this would feel like extra living room and sometimes you can just sit out here, coffee in hand and almost forget your phone inside.
Being in Marylebone Square means you get the only new build in a district that really is classic London. You do not have to walk far for anything but if you do go for a walk, it is all right there. Downstairs you will find a grocer that actually has what you need and not just snacks. Restaurants with proper tables and a mix of shops for quick gifts or necessities. Every Sunday, a real farmers market sets up just a few streets away and if you like music or feel like doing something outside, the outdoor concerts in nearby Manchester Square draw in everyone from little kids up to the grandparents. It does not feel like you need to go far for the best life here.
Family life works well too because the schools are just a stroll away and you see kids on bikes in the evenings, even in the middle of the city. There are proper doctors and clinics nearby which just makes everything less complicated. You can get on the train or the tube quickly if you need to cross the city but most days it is easy to stay put in Marylebone. The area just feels lived in but fresh, probably because only a handful of flats like this come up for sale in all of London and you can sense that the owners here look after each other.
Honestly, a place like this is about how it feels rather than just counting features. It could be your city escape or maybe even your main spot to land after the work day ends. I always think the only way to really know if that feeling fits you is to come see it for yourself. So if you are curious or even just want to have a casual look around, you can reach me anytime. We try to make every visit at LuxuryProperty com as comfortable and relaxed as possible.
