The idea of the staycation came into prominence in the early 2000’s and has become a popular alternative to taking a trip abroad. This year, staycations are a much more attractive option for holdaymakers around the world and may continue to be a big part of the new normal. Dubai’s finest hotels have embraced that idea and are offering some great deals. If you are planning a summer staycation in Dubai with your family, then here are some choices to consider.
Rixos Premium JBR
If you are looking for a lavish stay and some incredible cuisine in a fantastic beachfront setting, then you need to book the staycation deal at Rixos Premium right away. Until June 30, you can avail of a one-night stay that includes AED 500 of dining credit, then check out at your leisure the next day. The hotel’s private beach is open so you can enjoy a morning dip, though be mindful that strict distancing measures are in place.
Caesars Palace Bluewaters
Located on the marvelous Bluewaters Island off of Dubai’s northwestern coast, Caesars Palace brings one of the most famous hospitality and leisure experiences in the United States to Dubai. Aside from its fantastic beachfront setting, the hotel also offers a vast array of dining options including the world-famous Hell’s Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay. Dukes the Palm
‘Contemporary British refinement’ might be a term that best describes the offering at Dukes the Palm, with a lobby design that appears to be a contemporary spin on the reception room of a country manor and restaurants offerings such as the signature Great British Restaurant. The hotel is offering F&B discounts across the board, as well as the chance to upgrade your stay to one of the deluxe suites using the code UAE2020.
One of the leading names in Thai hospitality, Dusit Thani sits at the heart of Dubai’s main commercial centre. Book a room for AED 450 and AED 300 will be given back to you as F&B credit. Ther hotel also has 24-hour check-in, in case you want to kick off your summer vacation after an especially long day, and there are room upgrade options available as well.
Both of the FIVE hotels in Dubai are among the city’s most stylish hospitality destinations. The one on Palm Jumeirah is characterised by a stunning glass arch that welcomes you in and a stunning courtyard pool, while the one in Jumeirah Village Circle is known for having 269 pools, the majority of which are private pools as part of a suite/hotel residence. Both hotels have a summer offer where the full booking amount for your room will be given back to you as food and drink credit.
Four Seasons Resort Jumeirah Beach
A long-time favorite among Dubai’s beach resorts, the Four Seasons is making this summer a true celebration for UAE residents with the ‘Resident Key’. This special package lets you enjoy amazing discounts on rooms and dining, as well as early check-in, late check-out, an instant room upgrade upon checking in and a free dish from either of two selected restaurants. This offer is valid until 31st July.
Themed after Arabian markets and and city streets of old, Madinat Jumeirah is a fascinating blend of history and modernity that has always been a major draw for both residents and visitors. You can enjoy a stay at any of the three boutique hotels that are part of the resort, two of which - Jumeirah Al Qasr and Jumeirah Al Naseem - are offering summer deals. Breakfast is included with any booking, plus the choice of a free lunch or dinner at any of their amazing restaurants.
JA The Resort
Divided into three distinct hotels - JA Beach Hotel, JA Palm Tree Court and JA Lake View Hotel - this expansive resort located near Palm Jebel Ali has an incredible variety of experiences available. Some of the facilities remain closed in compliance with safety protocols, but you still have access to a 9-hold golf course, a clay pigeon shooting range, horse riding, tennis, and other outdoor sports. When you book online with the code ‘UAESTAY’, you will get the full price of your booking back as dining credit, or to use on some of the other facilities.
JW Marriott Marquis
The second tallest hotel in the world is offering you the chance to experience breathtaking vistas of the city and to enjoy five-star cuisine at new heights with two summer offers. There is the ‘suite-cation’, which sets you up in a corner suite on one of the higher floors, along with in-room breakfast and dinner for two (choose from a selection of their signature restaurants or have it in-room). Or you could go for the higher-end alternative, which includes a stay in a duplex penthouse suite, in-suite breakfast and a three-course meal that you can also enjoy in-suite or down at Prime 68 steakhouse.
Kempinski Mall of the Emirates
What could be better than a staycation at one of Dubai’s most famous shopping and entertainment destinations? Kempinski at Mall of the Emirates is offering a deal for a family of four (two adults and two children) that gives you a stay in one of the grand suites, along with discounted meals and the benefit of flexible check-in and check-out times. As a bonus, you can book a second room at half the rate and get two free tickets to Ski Dubai or dining credit worth AED 200.
One of the newer additions to Dubai’s excellent hospitality lineup, Mandarin Oriental has an offer that includes complimentary breakfast, a welcome drink, and flexible check-in and check-out times. It doesn’t have as many of the perks as some of the others on this list, but is still a great deal to be enjoyed at an exceptional hotel.
Atlantis The Palm
Global icon Atlantis the Palm certainly would not want residents to miss out on an exquisite staycation. The luxury resort offers free breakfast with every booking, along with daily entry into the magnificent Lost Chambers aquarium and AED 200 worth of credit to spend anywhere in the resort.
Renaissance Downtown Dubai
Do your vacation plans include picking up a new hobby? Then head to the Renaissance Downtown, which is not only offering two rooms for the price of one, but will also get free cooking lessons at BASTA!, the hotel’s signature Italian restaurant. You get to enjoy some of the finest Italian cuisine and have the knowledge to make it again whenever you like. Already have other plans for your summer staycation?
