Lagos

Some homes feel different even before you step inside. With this duplex apartment at The Residences at No 35 in Ikoyi, I found myself slowing at the door just taking in the clean lines and the bit of sun bouncing off those soft grey walls. It makes you want to leave your phone in your pocket for a second and pay attention. Honestly most apartments do not give you that feeling but this one pulls you in right away. This is a proper six bedroom place that gives you lots of space without feeling like a hotel. You will see straight off that the whole design is simple and fresh one of those modern looks where it feels like someone really thought about colors and light you get these lovely soft grey tones everywhere. They got the balance just right and to me it feels relaxing but still sharp enough to look impressive when friends pop round. I have to say the whole layout here is kind of special. You are not just getting a big home the whole thing is spread across two levels and it is almost like having two apartments in one. Each floor copies the other so you have plenty of space for family or maybe separate living zones if you want privacy. There are actually four lounges in total and two of those could easily be your main living and dining room. It is one of the very few homes I have seen in Ikoyi where you could have a whole set of grandparents living with you or maybe host friends while still having somewhere peaceful to escape. When I sat by one of the windows the skyline view is actually pretty calming especially late in the day. The kitchens here are not just for show either. They are the sort of places where you can actually cook a proper meal without feeling cramped up. Semi open style means you get that flow into the rest of the home plus you have white cabinets and those dark appliances that stand out nicely. And the breakfast counters are just the right height for grabbing a coffee or quick meal. More than once I found myself picturing a lazy Saturday cooking eggs while someone reads the news nearby. Each level gives you three bedrooms and one of those is a master suite. The bedrooms are light and a little quieter than you might expect in a busy neighborhood. You get modern finishes nothing is fussy and the wardrobes are built in so packing away is easy. The mix of tiled floors in the living spaces parquet in the kitchens and softer carpet in the bedrooms gives each space its own little mood. I like how you do not feel the need to rush out as soon as you get home because it actually feels cosy. There are a couple of games rooms tucked in which is fun if you like a bit of entertainment at home or have kids who need their own spot. When it comes to the building itself The Residences at No 35 tries to give you more than just an apartment. The ground level has a pool that sits among a patch of neat green so in the evenings you sometimes hear gentle chatter from residents who have wandered down for a swim. The gym and fitness rooms are big enough for a real workout not just a quick stretch. And with two whole levels of parking drivers stay happy even on busy Lagos mornings. You get the sense this is a bit of a social building where people know each other just enough and you can keep to yourself when you want. You are right in Ikoyi which is still one of the calmest and most respected parts of Lagos. There is always a good coffee place not far maybe a neighbor walks their dog at night and every so often you hear laughter drifting up from the driveway below. There is something about The Residences at No 35 where life feels a touch easier but it never tries too hard. Honestly you just have to see it for yourself. If it feels right you will know straight away. I am happy to answer questions or walk you through it when you are free. At LuxuryProperty.com we really want your move to this unique six bedroom duplex apartment in Ikoyi to feel simple and comfortable. Let us know when you want to stop by.

Unique Furnished Duplex Apartment in Ikoyi

Some homes just let you breathe a little deeper as soon as you come in. When I walked into this six bedroom duplex at The Residences at No 35 in Ikoyi, Lagos, I just paused in the entryway for a moment because there is so much light. You almost do not even notice the city outside at first because the feeling inside is its own thing. The ceilings feel higher. The space just keeps going. If you know Ikoyi, you probably know how rare it is to get a genuine two-level apartment that does not feel boxed in. This one feels more like a real house in the sky. I kept pacing from room to room and honestly the apartment almost feels like two separate homes stacked together. The mirrored layout on each floor means you are getting four lounges where everyone can spread out. I could imagine a family birthday party happening in one area and a quiet movie night going on in another without anyone getting in the way of each other. The living rooms are open and the sunlight hits the floors in just the right way in the afternoon. People sometimes talk about ‘open plan living' but here it feels casual and real. No stiff corners. You can move between the spaces so easily. The two kitchens – one on each floor – are kind of the star. They are semi open but not so closed off that you feel lonely when cooking. I tried the drawers and they are as smooth as anything. Sleek appliances are tucked in where you need them but it is also a place you could cook for a group and not get overwhelmed. I think about the nights where you might run down to the store for tomatoes and end up making something from scratch for everyone because the kitchen just feels that easy. What is unusual about this property is that you could honestly split it into two simplex apartments if you want to. Sometimes that flexibility is the missing piece for families who visit or maybe you want to live close to relatives without getting in each other's shoes. Each floor has its own entertainment area including these game rooms that do not try too hard to be fancy – just real space where you could play cards or even set up a table tennis game. Now the bedrooms. Six of them in total. Both floors have their own master suite – the ones with the walk in closets that just keep going. You can tell someone thought about storage when they did the built in units. Every bedroom here gets its own bathroom so no arguing over morning showers. Actually you could host out of town friends and nobody would be stepping on anyone's toes. The two master bedrooms feel higher than the street. Stand by the window in the morning and you catch glimpses of the Lagos skyline. For me it feels a bit peaceful watching the sun come up over the rooftops. The Residences at No 35 is not just about the apartment though. You step out and you have a gym and a fitness room that people actually use. I heard someone ask the trainer about early swim classes the other day. There's a landscaped swimming pool on the ground level where you sometimes see kids splashing around while parents sit with coffee. Parking is a breeze here because there are two whole levels – some days you do not even stress about coming home late. Life in Ikoyi means the best coffee spots are near and there are fresh bakeries down the road if Saturday mornings are your thing. People jog in the evenings and occasionally you catch the breeze coming off the water. The building itself is tucked away so you get the city but not all of its noise. I guess none of these words quite match up to actually being inside this duplex. So the only way to see if you fit is to walk through yourself. If you have any questions or you want to set up a time to look around just get in touch whenever. At LuxuryProperty.com, we just want your move in Ikoyi to feel comfortable and maybe even a bit exciting.

Stunning Two-Level Home in the Heart of Ikoyi

Some homes make you pause for a second just as you walk in. This six bedroom duplex at The Residences at No 35 in Ikoyi Lagos has exactly that effect. Honestly the feel hits you even before you make it past the lobby because the exterior has these soft grey tones where the greenery outside almost pops against the finish. Not flashy at all just quietly elegant and you can see right away how much thought has gone into the whole design. The first time I saw this apartment the sense of space really got to me. It is all spread across two full levels so if you enjoy having a real sense of room to breathe this place is going to hit the spot. On the lower level the living and dining area just flows together. Sometimes when you stand near the big windows you almost forget you are still indoors. There is something about the way the light bounces around. The kitchen feels like one of those spaces where you might actually want to cook a proper meal and not just store takeout menus. They went with these clean white cabinets and you can see all the modern appliances tucked in but honestly it still feels cosy. You have a secondary lounge right there too which is a bit unusual but genuinely useful. The games room is tucked away just enough that you can host movie nights or even sneak off for a bit of quiet downtime without feeling cut off from everything else. Three bedrooms on this same level and one of them is a master so you do not have to decide who gets the best room just based on the floor. The upper level repeats the entire layout which ends up giving you six full bedrooms plus all the living spaces. That much flexibility is rare and means you can set things up exactly how your life needs them. Honestly one of the best things about this space is the way you can make it work for whatever stage you are in. Families with young kids can have sprawling play zones with space to work from home. If you are more into entertaining you can turn spare bedrooms into extra lounges or a home gym. You can keep it all open as a single luxury duplex or break it up into two private three bedroom apartments using the internal stairs. That is actually quite handy if you want a multigenerational setup or just need privacy for guests. When you step out of the apartment the community itself keeps surprising you. The Residences at No 35 has a gym that actually makes it easy to stick to a morning routine and the fitness room does not feel fussy. The pool area is a real highlight. Landscaped gardens around the water so it never feels crowded. Sometimes in the late afternoons I have seen residents sitting out beside the pool having coffee or just chatting after a long day. Kids sometimes ride bikes in the driveways and there is a nice feeling of calm even though you are in Lagos. The skyline view from this building brings you back to the city reality in the best way. Parking is sorted too with two full levels between the ground and the basement so it never turns into a daily scramble for a spot. When you are coming in with groceries or friends after a night out it just feels easy. Everything here is designed for comfort and just a bit more ease. If you are searching for a luxury apartment for sale in Lagos especially in Ikoyi The Residences at No 35 stands out. Whether you want something for your growing family or you are looking for an investment property that ticks all the boxes this place deserves a look. I always say you will not know if it suits you till you stand inside and get a feel for the atmosphere. So any time you would like to walk through or just chat it over drop me a message at LuxuryProperty.com. We just want your next move to feel right for you.

Showers feel solid and clean, and even at midday the master gets that gentle natural light that makes it easy to start your day. I like that the finishes inside all just fit. Marble where you want it. Easy flooring everywhere else. Nothing too flashy but you can sense the quality when you touch the counters or open the doors. In a way, it feels made for real living not just for show. The lobby is another spot to pause. 3 Bedroom Apartment in 4 Bourdillon, Lagos

Some homes just have a certain feel as soon as the front door swings open. This four bedroom apartment in 4 Bourdillon, right in the heart of Ikoyi Lagos, is absolutely one of those places. You walk in and for a second you almost stop in the hallway just to let the atmosphere sink in. The space is big but it does not feel showy, it just feels very open and calm, almost like it is waiting for you to settle in after a busy day. The apartment itself covers more than five thousand square feet, which actually gives you room to breathe. The big living and dining area just flows together, so you can be chatting with friends on the sofa while someone is cooking and you are all still together. I like that about this one. Sometimes those open spaces look good in pictures but feel cold when you are actually there, but here you notice it just feels easy. The kitchen is not tucked away, either, so whether someone is chopping up breakfast or making tea, it is all part of the daily rhythm of the place. There is another tucked away family room if you want a bit of quiet time with a book or a movie night that has nothing to do with guests. What I think you will love most though is the wraparound balcony. I went out onto it and honestly just caught myself leaning into the skyline. The view really reminds you how alive Lagos is, and at the same time, you still feel kind of private. There is space out there to actually have friends over for sundowners or relax in the morning with a coffee, catching the breeze off the trees below. At different times of day, there is that gentle city hum in the background, never too loud, more like a bit of music just reminding you that everything you need is within easy reach. Each bedroom is spacious with its own bathroom, which is a nice touch if you have family or guests. The main suite really stands out though, not just for the space but also because of the walk in closets. His and hers, so no need to compromise over shelf space. Plenty of natural light washes into every room thanks to these huge windows. I spent a few minutes just watching the way the sun moved through the living area. There is something about that much light that puts you in a good mood from the moment you wake up. The building itself is well kept and it shows. Downstairs, the atmosphere is made softer with water features in the lobby, which you will catch as soon as you walk in, and the landscaping actually makes you forget you are right in the city. Kids run around the cobbled drive in the evenings, and you might spot some families sitting in the garden talking about their day. There are good spaces for everyone too, like the gym if you are into fitness, or the pool which sees quite a bit of action on weekends. You can take a walk to the tennis court or play a game in the multipurpose hall. Even the kids have a place to play outside where you can keep an eye on them and still relax. And of course you are in Ikoyi, so weekend brunches or a stroll to the waterfront are always right at your doorstep. The coffee shop is never far, and if you golf, the course is practically around the corner. It is one of those neighborhoods where you get the best of both, a peaceful spot to come home to but everything you need just a quick ride away. I could probably go on about this apartment but honestly, the only way to know if it feels right is to come and see it yourself. There is something about the way the light moves through the rooms, especially when the sun is low and you can see a sliver of the skyline through floor to ceiling windows. People always talk about space, but here it is more than just the numbers. Over five thousand square feet yes, but it actually feels even larger because everything just flows. Contemporary 4 Bedroom Apartment at 4 Bourdillon, Lagos Nigeria

Some homes just have a way of making you slow down a little. When I first visited The Residences at No 35 in Ikoyi Lagos it was one of those rare times. I actually caught myself taking a bigger breath as soon as I walked inside. There is something about the tall glass and soft grey exterior that manages to feel both modern yet calm. You can tell how thoughtfully the place has been maintained even before you step through the main doors. Nothing flashy or loud here just a careful attention to detail that feels reassuring. Walking through the lobby you will notice the hush. I found it pretty striking actually. The building rises up seven storeys so you get these lovely skyline views over Ikoyi but you are not towering right over the neighborhood. It is not the sort of apartment building where you feel lost in a crowd either. Only two special five bedroom penthouses and then a handful of the six bedroom apartments which are duplexes here. Each one really does give you that sense of space arms out wide and all and you are not going to bump into anything or anyone. It is a simple sort of luxury where comfort comes first. Inside these six bedroom apartments the open layout just works. Living area slipping into the dining and then straight into the kitchen. And these kitchens are actually places you can see yourself cooking for real not just heating takeout. I remember standing by the window for a bit. It is one of those spots where you could watch life moving outside in Ikoyi. If you are up early enough you might catch the city starting its day kids heading to school and the hum of Lagos coming alive. The bedrooms are soft and quiet. It is honestly the sort of quiet that comes from thick carpets and good design. Some nights you could forget where your phone even is and just enjoy the stillness instead. You will also notice how the flooring is not one note. Sometimes it is tile sometimes wood and it keeps things warm but never too cold or glossy. Each little zone of the apartment feels thought out. There are places to sit back maybe a lounge tucked into a quiet corner and even a games room which is not something you find in just any apartment in Lagos. It is the sort of home where getting everyone around the table for dinner feels easy. Guests naturally find their spot by a window or in a quiet nook. The view over Ikoyi seems to change by the hour. I kept coming back to the windows myself especially in late afternoon when the light softens everything and the city looks almost peaceful. The six bedroom duplexes have a clever twist. Each level mirrors the other so if you ever want more privacy or you have a big family or maybe one day you consider turning it into two separate apartments you could actually do that. Or just enjoy the whole space as one. These sorts of options do not come up often in Ikoyi. It is a bit of a rarity and it adds this practical edge to a really beautiful home. On the ground floor you get a pool that actually feels private because there is plenty of green not just stone all round. You could swim laps or just read by the pool for a while and still feel tucked away. The gym is right there too no need to fight traffic just to get a workout in. Parking is really sorted with two different areas so you are not driving in circles after a long day. One thing you will keep noticing is how the wider Ikoyi community feels. There are restaurants you start to know by name and a bit of culture on every block. Coffee shops pastries couples out for a morning walk. It is an area that feels genuinely lived in but cared for at the same time. The Residences at No 35 just has that something. Sometimes a place just fits. If you are curious about this six bedroom apartment in Ikoyi or if you would rather see things for yourself I am always around to answer questions or simply walk you through. At LuxuryProperty.com we think finding your next home should feel easy and a bit special even before you move in.
