BackMall of The Emirates, is a shopping mall in Dubai. Developed and owned by Majid Al Futtaim Group, it opened in November 2005 and is located at interchange four on Sheikh Zayed Road.
The multi-level shopping mall currently features more than 630 retail outlets, 7900 parking spaces, over 100 restaurants and cafés, 80 luxury stores and 250 flagship stores. It has a total gross leasable area of 255,489 square meters. It also hosts family leisure activities including Ski Dubai (the Middle East's first indoor ski resort and snow park), the 500-seat capacity Dubai Community Theatre and Arts Centre and Magic planet, one of the largest indoor family entertainment centers in Dubai.

Fashion Dome and Luxury Wing
Mall of the Emirates’ designated ‘Fashion Dome’, topped by a beautiful cathedral-like dome,, and Luxury Wing are home to over 80 of the world’s most popular luxury brands. Iconic Italian fashion house Prada has one of its largest international outposts in this mall. This store, with Prada’s signature checkerboard marble floors, offers some of the finest fashion, luggage, and accessory products in the world.
Household/Furniture
‘Home Centre’, a local favorite, is a true household name when it comes to furniture and house shopping. Another option is ‘The One’, where people can shop for trendy and contemporary home décor. Other top-tier brands include ‘Crate & Barrel’ and ‘Villeroy & Boch’, which offer exclusive houseware designs and the finest crockery.
Activewear, Equipment, and Sports
Leading sports brands Adidas and Nike offer the best of the best when it comes to sports, sneakers, and activewear. The Mall of Emirates is also home to an ‘Adidas Originals’ store, where fashion-forward folks can shop for streetwear and trendy sneakers. Electronics
Mall of the Emirates is home to several top-tier brands when it comes to electronics and technology shopping. The Apple store in Mall of the Emirates was Apple’s first retail store in the Middle East. Here, shoppers can enjoy the very best in smartphones, laptops, and accessories.
Dining
Walking the expanse of this immense shopping center can build up quite the appetite. Fortunately, Mall of the Emirates has something to satisfy all tastes. From well-known coffee shop chains including Starbucks and Tim Horton’s to more upscale dining options such as South American steakhouse Texas de Brazil and fine dining Chinese restaurant Miu Shanghai.
Skiing
Aside from the cinema, perhaps the biggest attraction at Mall of the Emirates is Ski Dubai, the Middle East’s first indoor ski resort. Ski Dubai has five slopes of varying difficulty, including the world’s first indoor black run (the most difficult type of slope).
