Some places in Dubai just have a feeling from the moment you walk in. This one bedroom apartment with a study at The Address Fountain Views feels like that for me. You get swept up in the buzz of Downtown even before you reach the lobby because you are right in the heart of it. There is this soft hum of the city outside but when you are inside, honestly, it gets pretty quiet and comfortable.&nbsp; As soon as you step inside, the layout just makes sense. There is a wide open living and dining area and, maybe it is just me, but it feels welcoming. The seating area by the window is where I sat with a cup of tea and just watched the streams of people below heading toward Dubai Mall. It can almost remind you to slow down. The kitchen stands just off to the side. It is one of those semi-open kitchens so you are still part of whatever is happening in the living area, but it is also out of the way. It comes with built in white goods already and actually feels like somewhere you would want to prep a real dinner even if it's just for yourself.&nbsp; I have to say, that separate study room is more useful than it sounds on paper. It is not an afterthought kind of space, more of a proper room where you can put a desk and good chair and even some shelves for books or plants. If you work remotely or just need to escape from a laptop in the living room, you are going to appreciate it. There is also a big laundry cabinet down the hall that can fit all your washing and drying bits out of sight. Makes keeping things tidy simple. The bedroom is what really worked for me. Nice big windows let in so much light during the day. At night the blackout curtains do exactly what you want them to. It just feels calm. The bed is king size and you have a proper wardrobe, not just one of those half sized things. The bathroom is set out next to the bedroom. It is finished really well and feels a bit like a hotel spa with its fittings and lighting but you also know you can just jump in the shower quickly and go when you are in a hurry. There are a lot of small touches in these apartments that you might not spot in the photos, which are just for illustration anyway. The ceilings are higher than average, which I love. Natural daylight just pours in. The attention to detail in the finishes is there if you look for it.&nbsp; Now, the real draw has to be the location. Seriously, you step out and you are almost inside Dubai Mall. I have watched families heading for breakfast on a Friday morning, joggers out early with a coffee from the stand near the fountains, sometimes even kids riding bikes toward Burj Park in the evening. This part of Downtown is always moving but up here, you just watch it quietly. From the window you can see the city laid out in every direction. And with the Burj Khalifa so close, you always know where you are in the world. Downstairs you get valet, a warm reception, coffee shops and restaurants you will genuinely use. The infinity pool, the gym and spa are just for residents so even when Downtown is busy, you still have a peaceful spot to swim or work out. The vibe is more hotel than anything but it is actually your home.&nbsp; Honestly, I think if you want a one bedroom with an actual study in central Dubai, this is rare to find, especially at The Address Fountain Views. More so when it is furnished and ready to move in.&nbsp; You can look at all the photos and floorplans but it is really worth coming to see it if you are interested.
