As temperatures are dropping in Dubai, now is the time to explore the best outdoor attractions the city has to offer. Among them, Dubai Miracle Garden stands out. The flowers are scrupulously arranged to form stunning 2D and 3D floral sculptures. Like each year, the garden has introduced unique, new attractions for 2021; including a floating lady and a genie. Let’s discover why Dubai Miracle Garden is such an amazing outdoor attraction in Dubai.

Things To Do And See In Dubai Miracle Garden

Getting There

Spread over 780,000 sq. ft.; the novel project was launched in the year 2013 with an investment of AED 40 million. Since it’s an outdoor attraction, the garden is usually closed during peak summer months and opens its doors from October till March. Located in Al Barsha, Dubai Miracle Garden can be reached conveniently from all areas of Dubai. It takes half an hour’s drive from Downtown and Dubai Mall to reach there. The garden is also close to the communities of Arabian Ranches and Dubai Autodrome circuit. If you are dependent on public transportation, bus no.105 from the MOE will drop you right in front of the venue. Furthermore, on Fridays and Saturdays, you can catch a bus from the Mall of Emirates bus station to Dubai Miracle Garden between 12:00 pm till 10:00 pm.

What’s in for 2021?

Dubai Miracle Garden has really pushed the envelope for the current year and will feature smurf-themed attractions. The exhibit draws inspiration from Belgian folklore - showcasing tiny, humanoid beings who dwell in mushroom-shaped domes. This unique and quirky village is definitely worth visiting and putting up on your Instagram. In addition, there are a total of three smurf-based floral arrangements that include Smurf Topiaries, Smurf Activity Area and Smurf Village. This is the sort of attraction that is mass-appealing; entertaining people of all ages.

Furthermore, the aerial floating lady comprising exotic flowers is truly a sight to behold. The sculpture is so beautifully put together that it looks otherworldly. For fans of Aladdin, a figure of the ever so popular genie stands in front of the man-made floral castle. To make matters even more interesting, the park has refined its night-time experience by erecting figurines with twinkling lights. For those going to the garden for the first-time, the revamped amphitheater features a majestic castle made using eclectic flowers that serves as an observatory deck providing visitors with a bird’s eye view of all the attractions.

Life Size Scale of the Emirates A 380

Without doubt the highlight of the garden, the life size model of A 380 - the largest passenger aircraft in the world is adorned in flowers and looks absolutely stunning. The aircraft was created using more than 500,000 flowers from various species; including Marigold, Viola, Coleus, Gaillardia, Snapdragon, Germanium; to name a few. Soon after being displayed, the floral A 380 went straight into the Guinness Book of World Records in 2016.

Butterfly Passage

The butterfly passage consists of a narrow pathway with a floral butterfly design overhead. What’s even more amazing is how each overhanging consists of flowers of different colours; making this attraction a favourite among people for taking photographs.

Giant Teddy Bear

The giant teddy bear is famous among kids who simply adore the flower-laden teddy clutching a heart in its palms. The bow-tie wearing teddy bear was recently erected, and has since become one of the major attractions of the garden among a younger audience.

Disney Avenue

The Disney Avenue is another attraction that made its way to the Guinness Book of World Records; with the Mickey Mouse structure being the largest topiary structure in the world. As a joint venture between Dubai Miracle Garden and Walt Dinsye, the avenue features iconic characters from the Disney universe; including the 18-meter tall Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Pluto, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck. All sculptures are over 18-meter tall and are made using a mix of flowers and grass.

Lake Park

The artificial lake park in Dubai Miracle Garden is exquisite and is home to a sculpted family of flamingos. The lake is surrounded by floral huts and patches of flowers and plants - giving it a mesmerising look. Lake Park is also a great spot to capture photos during sunset or to propose to the person you love.

Cabanas

If you are tired after walking and exploring the vast garden, you could take a break in one of the cabanas. The cabanas are again made out of leaves and flowers; and are furnished with plush cushions and silky drapes. This is also a place where you can spend priceless moments with your significant other as the mini cabanas make for a very romantic setting.
