CG Developers

CG Developers is the real estate development business of CG Corp Global, a multinational group with roots in Nepal and interests spanning hospitality, consumer goods, finance, infrastructure and other industries. The property division dates to 1995 and has since expanded beyond its home market into an international real estate and hospitality platform.

The wider group is chaired by Dr Binod K. Chaudhary, while Rahul Chaudhary, Nirvana Chaudhary and Varun Chaudhary serve as Managing Directors of CG Corp Global. Rahul Chaudhary has been particularly visible in the latest expansion of CG Developers and its move into premium branded residences.

Dubai is not a new market for the group. CG Corp Global established its local real estate operations in 2004 under the CG Realty name. This earlier presence gives the current CG Developers brand a longer local history than its recent luxury launches might suggest.

CG Corp Global has considerable hospitality exposure through CG Hospitality, including relationships with major international hotel operators. The current direction is notably more premium than much of its earlier Dubai activity. Instead of returning to the market with conventional apartment buildings, CG Developers has chosen Dubai Islands for a waterfront project carrying one of Marriott International's established luxury hospitality brands.

This positions the business within a part of Dubai real estate where hospitality, private ownership and residential services increasingly overlap. The approach also gives CG Developers a different market identity from companies focused on high volume suburban apartment construction.

CG Developers Projects for sale in Dubai

The current CG Developers project pipeline in Dubai is centred on JW Marriott Residences at Dubai Islands, Central, the company's most significant new residential launch in the UAE.

Announced in 2025, the development represents the first JW Marriott branded residential project in Dubai. It comprises 115 residences overlooking the coastal surroundings of Dubai Islands, with one, two and three bedroom homes forming the principal apartment mix. The project is currently off plan, with completion scheduled for the first quarter of 2028.

The development also illustrates an important distinction within branded real estate. Marriott International is the hospitality brand licensor rather than the property developer. The project company is Mars Estates Limited, a subsidiary of CG Gulf Real Estate Development LLC, which uses the JW Marriott name under licence. This keeps the development responsibility within the CG group while bringing Marriott's residential branding and service standards into the project.

Its location on Dubai Islands is significant to the company's UAE strategy. The masterplan is emerging as a major coastal residential and hospitality destination, with beaches, resorts, marinas and new apartment developments gradually creating a more established waterfront neighbourhood.

Before this current branded residence expansion, CG's Dubai property history was associated principally with CG Realty. JW Marriott Residences therefore represents more than an individual off plan launch. It signals the direction CG Developers is taking in Dubai, moving from its earlier conventional residential footprint towards premium waterfront homes and internationally branded living.
