Community Guide: Arabian Ranches

In stunning contrast to Dubai’s towering skyscrapers and beachfront penthouses, Arabian Ranches is a tranquil residential community that draws its inspiration from the desert sands. It is divided into 23 residential enclaves of sprawling family villas, with each villa featuring a warm sand and earth toned exterior palette.

Arabian Ranches is part of the Dubailand district that stretches across the center of the city, enjoying the twin benefits of being secluded from Dubai’s main urban areas while being easily connected to them via two major highways – Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and Emirates Road.

Oasis of Leisure

Although the desert influences the aesthetic of the homes at Arabian Ranches, it certainly isn’t reflected in the look of the community itself. Lush greenery and tree-lined avenues surround each neighborhood, and two pristine lakes grant some of the villas a lovely waterfront setting. As a self-contained and family-oriented locality, it also contains schools, hospitals and shopping destinations.

Serenity and relaxation are two of the key facets of Arabian Ranches, best exemplified by the immense Arabian Ranches Golf Club. Designed by Australian champion golfer Ian Baker-Finch, the 18-hole course blends the manicured fairways of a professional golf course with the rugged terrain of the natural desert landscape. Residents can also hone their golfing skills at The Academy and unwind after a day on the links at The Clubhouse.

If golf doesn’t quite get the blood pumping, then there’s the Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club on the western end of the community. Featuring 336 stables and perhaps the finest riding and dressage arenas in the region, this is the heart of equestrian sports in Dubai. Polo events are hosted throughout the year, which can be enjoyed in the stands or from the clubhouse.

Ranch Homes

Arabian Ranches consists of three main sub-communities, each containing a phenomenal selection of family villas with an architectural style that draws from traditional Arab domiciles and Spanish coastal homes.

Arabian Ranches I

This is the main community, broken up into 23 neighborhoods spread out around the golf course and the Arabian Ranches Lake. These include the Spanish-themed Mirador and La Avenida, as well as the more Arabesque Al Reem.

Polo Homes

Located by the Dubai Polo Club, this beautiful collection of 71 Mediterranean-style villas is on the perimeter of Arabian Ranches, giving it a unique and exclusive space in the community.

Arabian Ranches II

The second phase of Arabian Ranches adds a further 7 villa enclaves, of which two have already been delivered, plus a luxury townhouse community. While the golf course will be a shared space between both phases, Arabian Ranches II will have its own schools, hospitals and lifestyle amenities.
