I remember stepping into this six bedroom villa at Golf Place in Dubai Hills Estate and just pausing for a second. Maybe it was the way the light came through the windows or maybe it was the soft hush from the golf course outside. There is a big outdoor terrace too that sits in the middle of the upper floor. It is easy to get to no matter which room you are in so you end up spending evenings just looking at the view or catching up with friends under the open sky. You might even spot the city skyline on a clear day. The wood and stone finishes throughout do give a warm feeling it is comfortable in that slightly understated way that tends to last.

Dubai Hills Estate is a place where everything seems to just work. The school run is easy because the international schools are right nearby. There is always a good cup of coffee close at hand in the mall or down at the retail plaza. If you need anything at all you are minutes from Central Park, groceries or even state of the art healthcare if life ever throws you something unexpected. I have to say there are not many communities in Dubai where you feel all the pieces fit together so easily.
