Family Beach Clubs to Try in 2022

Temperatures in Dubai are already soaring and we can expect a scorcher of a summer ahead of us. Fortunately, the city is home to several fantastic beach clubs that are perfect for cooling off and for enjoying a staycation day.

Part of the stunning Bulgari Resort & Residences, the yacht club is located next to a 46-berth harbour and has an ambiance inspired by the charming Mediterranean coastline. You will feel as if you’re sunning yourself on the Italian Riviera as you lounge by the gorgeous pool or head into the club’s signature Italian restaurant to enjoy a delectable seafood-focused meal. There is also a specially branded kid’s club, known as the Little Gems Club, ensuring a great experience for the whole family.

With the two.0 by Cove Beach restaurant, the unique Rosé Lounge, three pools and a large stretch of beachfront, it is the place to be whether you want to enjoy a relaxed afternoon or a party-packed evening that lasts well into the night.

The award-winning beach club of The One & Only Royal Mirage, Drift offers a fantastic beachfront experience where you can rent sun beds, or even a private cabana that is like a small hotel suite in itself. The private cabanas at Drift have their own shower facilities, private lounges, mini bar, flatscreen TVs and sound systems. You also have a cabana waiter to handle all of your F&B needs, or you can head over to the Drift restaurant for a bite.

4. Sole Mio

Sole Mio is a unique beach club located on Kite Beach, in the heart of Jumeirah. You can rent beach umbrellas, sunbeds and towels and spend a day on the most popular beach in Dubai, surrounded by white sand, crystal water and the view of the iconic luxury hotel Burj Al Arab. Sole Mio is visited every year by more than 50'000 people, making it one of the most visited beach clubs in Dubai. A vibrant food truck and restaurants scene and the multiple sport activities available on Kite Beach, make it one of the preferred beach destinations among tourists and residents.

The world-famous White Beach at Atlantis needs no introduction at this point - it has adorned the Instagram feed of many a global celebrity. The beach club features a gorgeous infinity pool, a lounge terrace, private sunbeds, shaded pergolas, and more to create a Mediterranean-inspired coastal experience. You also have the White restaurant, which serves up everything from light bites to brunches to main dishes that you can enjoy with views of the Palm and the stunning city skyline.

The beach club with the unusual name is also one of the largest clubs of its kind in Dubai and one of the newest, opening just at the end of 2020. Located in JBR. The club itself features more than 20 bars, three restaurants, an immense poolside deck and live entertainment for a complete beachfront party atmosphere.

8. Azure Beach

Another JBR entry, Azure Beach is part of the Rixos Premium Hotel that sits right at the centre of the neighbourhood and is older than the nearby Bla Bla by just about 2 months. Aside from the usual beach club trappings (sun deck, massive pool, poolside bar, Jacuzzi), Azure Beach offers a limited selection of luxury cabanas with their own private pools and comfortable sun beds. It’s a great way to enjoy a more intimate day at the beach, along with a dedicated server to cater to your dining needs.

WET Deck offers you a contemporary beachfront experience that is beyond incredible. The club is part of the stunning W Hotel  home to award-winning master chef Massimo Bottura’s restaurant Torno Subito, and is a beach lover’s paradise. Sloping down slightly from the hotel, WET features multiple pools set in a curved pattern leading out to the beach. There are private poolside gazebos, private cabanas, a lounge deck, a private beach and crisply landscaped walkways, all surrounded by the most amazing views (especially at sunset).
