For buyers looking for private 55 acres land for sale in New Jersey with real scale, privacy, and business potential, this 55-acre property in New Egypt stands out for more than just its size. Set in central New Jersey at 82 Jacobstown Road, this is the kind of opportunity that can suit several visions at once. It works as a peaceful setting for a future estate home, but it also speaks directly to buyers searching for a farm for sale in New Jersey or a horse farm for sale in NJ with strong access to the wider equestrian and racing network of the region. One of the first things that makes this property memorable is the land itself. The full 55 acres feel private and open, with a pristine stream running through the property and naturally dividing it into two near-equal halves. That feature gives the land more character than a standard open parcel and helps create a setting that feels established rather than blank. For someone looking at land for sale New Jersey, that matters. It is not only about acreage on paper. It is also about how the land feels in person and how easily it can support a more ambitious long-term use.The location adds a practical advantage that is difficult to ignore. This property is centrally positioned for access to many of the major racing tracks across New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia. That makes it especially relevant for buyers interested in an equine operation. If someone is searching for a horse farm for sale NJ or a property that could support an Arabian horse breeding and racing business, this address immediately makes sense. The ability to move efficiently between training, breeding, and racing destinations can shape the value of a property like this just as much as the land itself.Access is another strong point. The property is only minutes from I-95, which keeps regional travel straightforward, and it also benefits from being within reach of the Jersey Shore. That combination gives the setting a rare kind of flexibility. It feels rural and private enough for a farm or estate use, yet it remains well connected to major routes and wider lifestyle destinations. For buyers looking through farms for sale in NJ, this balance between privacy and convenience is often what separates a good parcel from one that truly works. The land also suits buyers who are not only thinking about an equine business. There is clear appeal here for someone wanting to create a custom private residence on a large tract in central New Jersey. A future estate home in this setting could take full advantage of the stream, the privacy, and the amount of open space available. That broader appeal matters because many searches begin with terms like land for sale in New Jersey but quickly narrow into something more specific, such as a homesite with long-term lifestyle potential or a property that can combine personal use with business use. What makes this opportunity stronger is that it does not force a buyer into one single outcome. It can suit someone specifically searching for a farm for sale New Jersey, someone wanting a horse farm for sale in NJ, or someone looking for land for sale in New Jersey large enough to build a dream estate home with room to grow over time. That flexibility is part of the value. For buyers who want acreage, privacy, regional access, and a property that can support both lifestyle and equine ambition, this New Egypt offering is a rare one. 55 acres of land for sale at New Egypt in New Jersey

Some homes are just bigger than life in a way you do not really expect until you walk up the driveway and see how the afternoon sun hits the stone. This seven bedroom estate at 105 Chestnut Ridge Road in Saddle River really does that to you. I took a minute by the big iron gates just to take in the sheer size of it all. Honestly you sort of forget that New York City is less than half an hour away because the trees wrap you up and it is quiet. The kind of quiet you rarely get so close to the city. The house itself is something straight out of a storybook. From the outside you get this old world castle feel with the grey stone and those airy terraces over the front entrance. It feels like it was made for big arrivals honestly. More than twenty five thousand square feet inside but it is hard to picture until you walk through and realize you could have three families over and still never feel crowded. Whenever I step through the front doors the first thing you notice is how bright it feels in here even though the details are those warm deep marbles and woods. There is a mix of Edwardian finishes throughout—take a look at the hand carved fireplaces in the main living areas. One of them still had a bit of warmth from earlier. Sometimes you catch yourself imagining what winter must feel like here when you have friends over and snow outside. The kitchen is the heart of the home and it does not feel standoffish either. Sometimes in these big mansions you get a show kitchen that nobody actually uses. Here it just makes sense. Loads of marble counter space. Wood cabinetry that looks even better in person. Real stainless steel appliances that are begging for a family pasta night. You can actually picture breakfast here with everyone gathered around. And with this layout the kitchen opens into wider entertaining spaces so you are always in the action. Upstairs all the bedrooms are their own little retreats. I walked out onto one of the terraces off the master and you get these pretty big panoramic views across the lawns and old trees. You can just see the tennis court and if you lean out a little you'll spot the basketball court in the distance. The bedrooms never feel pushed onto each other. Each is generously sized and softened by a lot of natural light. Easy to imagine kids, guests, or just early mornings here yourself. And the best thing is the indoor pool. Not just a small lap pool squeezed into a basement—this one fully opens up with huge windows looking over the estate. You almost feel outdoors. There is a spa attached too complete with a steam room that smells faintly of eucalyptus. Great for unwinding after a Sunday tennis match. You will probably find yourself spending a lot of slower afternoons here in the pool or spa and not missing the outside world at all. Security is pretty well covered. Crestron cameras are tucked into corners but never really in your face. You just get this sense that everything's watched over without being obvious. The privacy is impressive here too. Other nearby estates are set on massive lots so you hardly ever see a neighbor unless you want to. And if you need a bit of city life you're close enough that heading into Manhattan is no big deal. You can even walk to a local outdoor mall or the nearby school for the morning routine. Saddle River is known for well kept homes and even in the evenings you see neighbors out jogging or kids on bikes. It just feels safe and settled here. Plus every time I walk these grounds I notice something new—maybe a certain tree by the driveway or a bird nest tucked near one of the terraces. Whether you are looking for a true family estate or you just want something private but close to New York this mansion at 105 Chestnut Ridge Road gives you that extra breathing room that is hard to find these days. The only real way to know if it fits is to come take a stroll through it yourself. If you want to see the rooms or even just have a quiet look around let me know. At LuxuryProperty.com, we try to make every step feel natural and easy.
