The Address The BLVD, Downtown Dubai
Some homes just seem to slow you down the minute you walk in. This two bedroom apartment at The Address The BLVD in Downtown Dubai gave me that feeling right away. I popped in on a sunny afternoon and honestly, I wanted to just watch the light moving across the living room floor for a while. There are those floor to ceiling windows which make you feel like you have seats to the best show in town. Burj Khalifa right in front of you, Dubai Fountain waking up every evening beneath you. I actually stood by the window for a bit and watched what was going on down on the boulevard. You get to see all the energy of Downtown, but you are up here so everything feels quiet. It is a unique spot.
At about 1750 square feet, it is one of the largest two bedroom plans in this building and you really get that sense as you walk around. The living and dining area sort of blend together, so you can sit and watch TV or just as easily set a table for friends. The kitchen honestly feels like a spot you would hang around in, not just a showpiece. I poked around and you have all your big name appliances, but sometimes it is the little things, like the way the marble countertops never feel cold or the cupboards just sort of close soft without making a sound.
Bedrooms are tucked away just right, so if you come back after a long day, you do not feel like you are still in the middle of city buzz. Both rooms have big windows and at night when the city lights up, there is something really calming about it. You might find yourself gazing out wondering how the day went by so quick. Plus there are built in wardrobes that are just practical. You will also notice the bathrooms do not just look sleek for photos, they actually feel good to use. Rain shower. Enough space to leave your stuff out if you are a bit messy like me.
One of the best things about living here is just how close you are to everything. You can walk to the Dubai Mall pretty quick, which means morning coffee runs are easy or you want to catch a movie last minute. The Metro is nearby too, so no headaches over traffic or parking every day. Sometimes you even see people jogging down Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard early in the day, or just catching up with friends outside the hotel lobby in the evening.
The Address The BLVD comes with all these branded hotel features that kind of just make life smoother without you really thinking about it. There is someone at the desk always ready to help, which is just reassuring. If you care about fitness, there is a proper gym, not one of those places that is just a couple of treadmills. And that infinity pool out on the terrace, well, you end up spending more time there than you plan. Weekends here feel different, in a good way. I remember there were a few folks working from the lounge downstairs with a coffee in hand. There is also a spa downstairs if you have one of those weeks where you just want to switch off for a bit.
What struck me when I was here is it just feels easy. Sometimes you almost forget your phone because you are actually comfortable in your own space. That does not always happen in apartments in this part of town. You are at the heart of Downtown Dubai, with views you do not get anywhere else and a kind of quiet that is rare for the area.
Really, though, these are the sort of places you will only get a sense of if you walk in and spend a minute or two. If you want to see if this could work for your lifestyle, or just have questions, I am around. Get in touch anytime and we can walk through the apartment together. At LuxuryProperty.com, the goal is to help you feel at home right from the start.
