Some places really do surprise you the second you walk in. That happened to me with this two bedroom apartment at DAMAC Towers by Paramount in Business Bay. I have to say, it feels like so much more than just a rental and honestly I could see myself spending quiet afternoons here, just watching the city from that private balcony. It is right in the thick of Business Bay so you get everything you expect from downtown Dubai without any of the fuss or noise that comes with the busiest roads. When I was there, you could even feel how calm it gets after work hours. Sometimes you notice a gentle hum of city life, but you also get these pockets of real quiet.

On weekends you might want to use the pool or the spa. I saw a few people heading down in their gym stuff looking half asleep, but coming back totally relaxed. The gym itself is kitted out well—you will not feel cramped, and the equipment did not look like the kind you want to avoid. It is the kind of building where you spot some familiar faces in the lifts after a while, but not so many that it ever feels crowded.

Plus, honestly, the cafés and restaurants nearby are actually good, not just your typical chains. There is always somewhere close for coffee and it is not impossible to walk to Downtown Dubai either if you are feeling like a lazy stroll. The towers are right on the edge between the commercial buzz of Business Bay and that calmer residential scene. 

The apartment is totally unfurnished which means you can make it your own. It is available now, ready for someone to just settle in and start living.
