Burj Khalifa, Burj Khalifa Area, Downtown Dubai
There are some places that make you stop for a second when you walk in and this two bedroom apartment in Burj Khalifa really does that. I stepped inside and just noticed everything got a little quieter even with Downtown Dubai buzzing below. You get this sense that you are up in the clouds above the city with nothing between you and those Dubai Fountain views except the sky itself. If you have ever imagined living with the city almost at your feet this is that kind of place.
The apartment is vacant right now so you do not need to wait around. The space feels open and ready to shape into whatever suits you best. Natural light just tumbles in through these huge windows and it hit me while I wandered through the living room how easy it feels to relax or have friends round. The floor to ceiling glass is something else and if you stand by one of the windows you can see right from Old Town all the way out towards the far edge of the skyline. At night the city lights up and you almost do not need art on the walls because the view is always changing anyway.
In the kitchen you are not cut off from anyone. It all flows together so cooking dinner becomes part of being in the room instead of somewhere else. I noticed the appliances are top notch not just for show and there is enough counter space to actually prepare a meal not just microwave something. Sometimes with brand new places you get a kitchen you never want to use but here it feels like someone thought about real life instead of just style.
The bedrooms feel like proper retreats which is not always the case in city apartments. There is space to stretch out and wake up slowly. Both have these built in wardrobes that look neat and not bulky and the finishes are really clean. You will notice small touches all over that just make the place look and feel cared for like the elegant fixtures or the way the lighting does not glare even at night. Having your own powder room for guests is handy too. Plus there is a separate laundry area right by the kitchen so you can tuck things away and not have to step out for chores.
One of the things that stood out to me is how quiet everything is once you close your door. The Burj Khalifa is known for being exclusive and you can tell. Security is around all the time but in a low key way so it never feels guarded but you also know you are always looked after which is a rare thing in a city like this.
For those who like to keep active or just unwind there are pools for every mood. Some are indoors and others let you watch the fountain shows while you swim. The gym has all the equipment you would actually use not just the basics and the library downstairs is a nice quiet place if you want to read or get some work done away from home. You might even recognize a neighbor or two from around Dubai but it never feels crowded here.
Step outside and you are a short stroll from Dubai Mall and the Souk. Sometimes I walk past the cafes early in the morning and you see people lingering over coffee before work letting the day start gently. Kids ride scooters near the fountains in the evenings and it all feels parts of a real neighborhood even though you are in the center of everything.
Parking is never tricky and getting home is about as easy as it gets anywhere Downtown. If you have guests there is space for them too. There is just this feeling that someone has paid attention to all the things that actually matter in city living.
The only way you know if a place feels right is to come and see it for yourself. If you are curious about what life in Burj Khalifa is really like or you just want to see the view on a sunny morning give me a shout any time. At LuxuryProperty dot com we just want the next step in your story to feel comfortable and easy.
