BLVD Heights Tower 2, BLVD Heights, Downtown Dubai
Some homes are just easy to settle into. That is what I felt the first time I walked into this two bedroom apartment at BLVD Heights right in the heart of Downtown Dubai. There is something about the light here. Maybe it is the way the floor to ceiling windows open up to city views, or maybe it is how the space just seems ready for relaxed evenings or busy mornings. You step inside and everything feels a little quieter but the city is all around you, sort of humming in the background. Honestly, you start to forget how close you are to all the buzz until you look out one of those big windows and spot the Burj Khalifa rising above the skyline.
The living area is proper open and sunny. Two big balconies mean you can just step out for a coffee or catch the sunrise before you head out for the day. I found myself leaning on the balcony rail, just watching how the city changes light over the morning. Some folks use one balcony for a few plants and the other for a small table where you can have breakfast with Downtown Dubai spread out below. Even after a long day, there is enough space in the living area that you do not feel boxed in. You might notice it has just the right amount of room for a sofa, a dinner table, and maybe that lounge chair where you just scroll your phone or nod off with a book.
The kitchen actually feels like somewhere you would cook for real. Not just the quick takeout reheat job. The appliances are all top notch. Big fridge, dishwasher, oven, plenty of storage for snacks and pots and all the other bits you collect. It flows right into the living area so you are not boxed off from the rest of the place when you are making dinner or packing a lunch. Makes the apartment feel even bigger.
Both bedrooms – you will notice it right away – are proper private. Both have built in closets and their own en suite bathrooms. It just makes everything feel easier, especially if you are sharing with a friend or have visiting family. The master bedroom has this bathroom with a real deep tub and a walk in shower so no waiting in line for your turn in the morning. The second bedroom has its own bathroom with a shower. There is also a guest bathroom close to the living room so you are not worrying about privacy when people come round. Little storage room off the laundry means your suitcases and random boxes actually have somewhere to go instead of piling up in the hall.
Talk about BLVD Heights itself – it is one of those new Emaar buildings, so it still feels fresh and looked after. And if you love a good swim or have kids, you get a big swimming pool, a smaller kids' pool, gym that has everything, and even outdoor and indoor play areas. I have seen residents using the barbecue spaces in the evenings, which is nice if you end up making friends in the building. Plus there are enough quiet corners with seating if you just need a place to catch up on emails or call home. The reception is friendly and you can head straight to the boulevard or just slip out the back to the quieter street. Easy for coming and going, and you are never far from something to do. Five minute drive to Dubai Mall, or you can walk to Dubai Opera or the fountains. The coffee shop is not far either, you will see people grabbing their morning cup or walking little dogs.
Bottom line, everything you expect from Downtown Dubai living is right here, but it does not feel hectic. Sometimes you just want to slow down for a bit and this apartment lets you do that. The only way to know if it feels right is to come see it for yourself. It is always different in person. If you have any questions or just want to look around, give me a shout any time.
