Savannah 1, Savannah, Arabian Ranches
Some places just have that thing you feel right after walking in. This three bedroom villa in Savannah, right in the heart of Arabian Ranches, really gives you that moment. I honestly think most people would pause by the front door and just stand for a second. The hallway hits you with so much sunlight it actually takes a moment to adjust. The ceilings go up higher than you expect, and there is this easy sort of calm through the house which you start to notice even when you are slipping off your shoes.
Savannah is part of Arabian Ranches Two, which people always say is one of the most family friendly spots in all of Dubai. I get that, because even just standing outside the villa, you catch the sound of kids on bikes or maybe a dad jogging with his child ahead of him on a scooter. There is green everywhere. And the houses are all properly separated, so you get this sense of space. This place sits on a single row plot with a big patch of landscaped garden out back. Sometimes the birds come right up onto the grass, and if you open the windows in the morning, you really can hear them and feel that almost countryside air. The plot itself is about seven thousand square feet. Pretty generous. You do not feel boxed in.
The built up area is just over three thousand square foot, so you can spread out and not feel on top of each other. The living area manages to feel open but cozy at the same time. There is an oak staircase that splits things up so parents can relax in one part while the kids make a mess in another. Actually, the kitchen is what got me. It is shaped for real cooking, not some awkward, cramped corner. There is a proper breakfast bar where you can either have a quick morning coffee or dump all the school bags when everyone gets back. And because the living space is open plan, you always know what is happening on the other side. You can be chopping onions and still keep an eye out the window or watch somebody lazing on the sofa.
The dining room connects but still feels a bit private, which suits for those rare grown up dinners when you want a little more peace and quiet. Every window in the house is big. You almost forget the curtains are there because the light is enough to make you grin on a cloudy day. The French doors open out and suddenly you are in your own bit of garden. That is the kind of place where I imagine lazy weekends, maybe a barbecue or just feet in the grass and a book.
Walk upstairs and the bedrooms just keep the same roomy vibe. Each one basically feels like someone put a little hotel suite at home. En suite bathrooms in every bedroom, so never a queue in the mornings. Plenty of built in wardrobe space. Not the pretend kind either, you can actually fit all your clothes and still have breathing space. Every bedroom has its own access to a terrace, and if you stand out there early enough, you hear the neighborhood waking up, birds starting up, soft voices, sometimes a car door closing far off.
Savannah is not just about the houses. The community really is made for families. If you have kids, there are parks and playgrounds around every corner, and the sports facilities get used a lot, from what I see on those afternoon strolls. Getting anywhere is pretty simple. Main roads are close but never loud. Schools and shopping centers are five or ten minutes away, and you never really lose that peaceful feeling even with the city hustle just outside.
What I love most is how easy everything feels here. Maybe you end up walking to the little coffee shop a bit too much. Maybe you just find yourself slowing down at home. The only way to know if it fits what you need is to come and feel it in person. If you have questions or you want a comfortable walk through, let me know. At LuxuryProperty.com, the aim is for your next move in Arabian Ranches to feel about as stress free as possible.
