Montgomerie Maisonettes, Emirates Hills Villas, Emirates Hills
Some homes have a kind of hush that settles in as soon as you walk inside. This three bedroom villa in Emirates Hills really does that. When I stepped in for the first time, I could actually hear birds from the garden and even though you are not far from the city, it just feels quiet and almost a bit private. Sunlight comes in from the windows and the big sliding doors so corners never seem heavy or shut away. There is space to breathe here and somehow it makes you want to slow down, maybe sit for a bit before you do anything else.
You will probably notice the kitchen straight away. It is not hidden or pokey, it is actually big enough for proper cooking and the kinds of meals that take all afternoon. There are fitted appliances already there so nobody needs to fuss or wait for installation. If you bake or cook a lot, it feels like the counters have enough room for a few people to join in. Friends are always drawn to the kitchen, somehow. Even if you just like making coffee in the morning, there is a good flow through to the garden so it feels easy to step outside with a mug and get ten minutes of sun to start the day.
And the garden itself, honestly, is quite calming. The patio is not just a little patch either. I stood out there early and you can see the greens of Montgomerie Golf Club just beyond the fence. Some evenings, when it is a bit cooler, you see neighbours watching the sunset or reading by the soft light. If you have kids, they will probably be out with a football. Sometimes you even hear laughter floating over from another garden nearby. It just feels neighbourly in a genuine way.
The master suite feels like proper grown up space. It has his and hers bathrooms which is one of those things you maybe do not think about at first but end up being really grateful for. Even the other bedrooms have room for good sized beds and extra furniture so you do not have to squeeze in. Storage is sorted so things stay neat without having to work at it.
One thing you might not expect, and I like this a lot, is that Emirates Hills has a kind of gentle pace to it. People stroll more here. You actually see dog walkers taking their time in the evenings and sometimes kids cycling past. Not everyone is bustling to get somewhere. And for days when you want the city buzz or need anything, malls and all the shops you need are just a short drive. Pretty much everything in life is reachable in ten minutes. There are schools around and hospitals too, so if you need to get somewhere quickly, it is not a big deal.
Security here is more relaxed than you might think. There is someone at the gate all the time but it never feels intrusive. It is more like someone watching out for the neighbourhood in a quiet way. Brunch on weekends is a thing around here. Some of the best clubhouses are nearby and people do actually use them, it is not just for the photos. There is a kind of casual routine: someone meets for coffee, the kids play, you lose track of time. Evenings often end up on a patio or in a garden with someone sharing stories about the area.
Honestly, if you like to wind down at home or entertain friends sometimes or just want a practical layout with a bit of luxury but nothing too showy, this villa might just work for you. You will only really know if it fits after you have been inside. So if you have questions or want to take a look in person, just get in touch. At LuxuryProperty.com, we try to make the whole thing feel calm and straightforward. Take your time with it. The right home just feels right when you are in it.
