Rochester, Damac Hills
There is something about some homes that just slows you down for a moment. This three bedroom townhouse in Rochester at Damac Hills does exactly that. I remember walking in and it just felt open and calm straight away. Sometimes a place makes you forget you even have your keys in your hand and this was that kind of moment.
The living room is bigger than you might expect. It honestly gets a nice bit of natural light through the day so you can actually go without all the lights switched on sometimes which is refreshing. The dining area sits right with the living so conversations just sort of flow from breakfast right through to dinner. I noticed that sound travels softly through this space too so it never feels like people are bumping elbows even if you have friends over.
The kitchen was a bit of a surprise since it has that proper closed layout which you do not always find in Dubai. There is a sense you could cook here for everyone you know and not just sneak in to push a few buttons on the microwave. The upgrades are real not just for the sake of saying upgrades. The AC units here have been improved as well which is something you might not notice until you stand under one after coming in from the heat. The whole place just stays cooler and you do not get those weird hot patches you find in some villas.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms and all have their own en suite so you get a bit of privacy for everyone. Built in wardrobes actually have enough space so you do not need to pile stuff on top of each other. Each bedroom also catches that soft morning light especially the main one at the corner. I stood by the window in one and you could see a bit of the neighbourhood, kids biking around and the birds really are louder here than you might think. It just has a lived in family sort of feel and it does not feel staged or cold.
There is a maid's room tucked in near the kitchen and it has its own en suite too. It could work well as a study or even a place to let your guests stay the night honestly. Outside you get a garden that is a good bit larger than some of the others I have seen close by. You could probably have a couple of people over for a barbeque and not feel crowded. Someone had taken a lot of care with the grass here and there is enough space for kids' games or to put some chairs under the sun. If you like a bit of privacy you are on a nice corner spot and it feels just a shade quieter somehow.
One thing you will notice is how easy it is to get around. The park is only a few steps away so on weekends you will probably end up going for a walk just because it feels right. The Trump International Golf Club is never far either. Even if you have never hit a golf ball in your life it is still a nice spot for walks or just to look at all that greenery. Around the community there is a skate park where you sometimes spot teens trying new tricks, horse stables that bring a bit of countryside charm, football and tennis courts, and if you ever run out of bread the Carrefour is actually nearby so no long drives just for groceries. The Jebel Ali School is in the area so school runs do not really have to be a chore and getting your hair sorted or a quick trim means just walking over to the salon or barbershop down the road.
The place is vacant and ready, so you can move in soon without that wait. Damac Hills itself just has a way of making every day feel a bit easier whether it is the community spirit or just the fact that everything is close by.
Honestly the pictures only say half of the story. The only way to know if this townhouse actually fits you is to come and feel it yourself. If you want to walk through or even if you just have a quick question you can always reach out. We try to keep things as easy and comfortable as possible for you here at LuxuryProperty.com.
