There is a particular kind of quiet as the door closes behind you. Maybe it is the way the sunlight filters right across the living room or how you can already picture Sunday mornings making pancakes in the kitchen. It does not shout for your attention. It just feels welcoming in a simple and honest way. I stood by the window for a while and actually forgot about my phone buzzing in my pocket which hardly ever happens these days.

Even traffic is not really a worry since the main roads link up pretty neatly from this spot. Security is always present at the gate so you feel safe letting the kids out for a bit of exploration.
