Al Reem 1, Al Reem, Arabian Ranches
Some houses are easy to like before you even get through the front door. This three bedroom townhouse in Al Reem, inside the Arabian Ranches community, is exactly like that. Honestly, I remember walking up and hearing a few birds in the trees right beside the garden wall and thinking, this place just feels peaceful. You get that sense right from the start. The little paved path takes you to a door that is sturdier than you expect and once you step inside, the space kind of unfolds around you.
The living and dining room feels especially open, with plenty of sunlight soaking in. I noticed in the afternoon you get that golden light coming right through the windows and it falls softly on the tiled floor. The sliding doors at the back open up to a garden that is already properly landscaped and there are more than a few trees here that give the home real privacy. You honestly do not see that in every Arabian Ranches townhouse. You could actually let the kids run around out here and even in the hottest months you will still get a spot of shade in the afternoon. I could see someone sitting out on a weekend, book in hand, maybe a cup of coffee, not much noise anywhere.
The kitchen area is bigger than you might expect and it feels made for actual cooking not just a microwave meal or a sandwich. There is a proper utility area right next to it which is always handy for families. One thing I liked is the extra room on the ground floor. This could be a guest bedroom or maybe a study or you can actually let it be just a family TV room. I have seen people use it for all three. There is also a powder room that is clean and bright plus a bigger storage spot tucked beneath the stairs. Every bit of extra space ends up being useful after a while.
Upstairs is where the real comfort kicks in. The main bedroom is spacious and it has a balcony where you can step out and look out over the garden or just take a moment to breathe. I found myself standing there for a minute or two just because the green view is sort of calming. There is a proper built in wardrobe so storage never gets to be a problem. The bathroom is right there as well, not too fancy but more than enough for everyday use. The other two bedrooms upstairs are not huge but they are both good sized and they share a bathroom between them. It just feels logical for families or if you expect guests sometimes.
Walking around the neighborhood you start to notice what makes Al Reem so popular. The streets wind around plenty of mature trees and in the evenings you actually see a few kids biking together or some folks just out for their daily walk. Arabian Ranches as a community has a bit of everything no matter what lifestyle you keep. There is a school following the British curriculum right nearby. You never have to worry about traffic for drop offs in the morning. There is the little mall handy for basics plus a hotel and even a golf club if you feel like making a morning out of it. I would not forget the lakes that are scattered around the Ranches. On the weekends or evenings you see couples and families walking beside the water, sometimes at sunset, sometimes even later when it is cooler. Outdoor gyms are popping up too lately and there are a bunch of places to eat out or spend an evening. You are never too far from a good pizza or decent coffee.
It is not the most grand or flashy place in town, but that is the point. There is just an easy kind of comfort here. Sometimes you really do find you are not reaching for your phone because the place actually feels like home. It is quiet and settled. The best thing is you will know right away if it is for you only by visiting. I always say, try the space for yourself. If you want to come see this three bedroom townhouse in Al Reem at Arabian Ranches, just let me know. Happy to show you around any time.
