Some homes just have a certain feel the minute you walk inside. This three bedroom apartment at Downtown Views II, right in the center of Downtown Dubai, really does that for me. I walked in, and honestly, the first thing I did was move over to these huge windows and just stare at the Burj Khalifa. Even though you are in the heart of the city, the light is soft in the mornings and there is this peacefulness that kind of settles over the place. You hear a little of the city below sometimes, but from up here it just feels calm. I know a lot of people love the buzz of Downtown Dubai, but it is nice that you can enjoy it all without feeling caught up in the noise every minute.

This is a proper three bedroom apartment you can actually live in comfortably every day. The living and dining area has that open flow that means you do not have to squeeze around furniture or bump into things. I spent a bit of time in the kitchen and you can tell it is designed for real use. The counters are just the right height if you like to cook, or even if you only ever make coffee and toast. You can keep one eye on the news in the living room or just chat to your family while you cook. The appliances look unused, and the modern finish almost disappears into the background, which is kind of nice because it lets you relax and just enjoy the space. I always think kitchens should be a place you want to spend your mornings, and this feels like that kind of spot.

You catch the city lighting up at sunset and it reminds you why Downtown Dubai is so special. You feel private up here, but never cut off from the real energy of the place.

Life at Downtown Views II makes everyday things pretty easy. You are only a few minutes' walk from Dubai Mall. I know people who pop out for groceries or a coffee and are back before you finish your drink. There is a pool that actually gets a lot of sun in the afternoons and a fitness center that is open early if you are someone who likes a quiet morning workout. There is always security at the entrance but it is laid back, so you feel safe without it being in your face. I have seen families coming in with kids in the evenings, some people heading out jogging early, and the building never feels empty or just for show.

The convenience is hard to beat if you are looking to rent an apartment in Downtown Dubai. Living here means you can get to work easily or just drive out to the beach when you feel like it. There are lots of ways in and out which is rare in this part of town. Sometimes you see neighbors in the lobby and everyone just gives a smile or a nod. The place is lived in, not just a fancy backdrop.

One of my favorite things about this three bedroom apartment is how it just feels right. It is vacant now, so you can move in straight away and not worry about timing. If you want a place that is easy to settle into, with those amazing Downtown Dubai views, and close to everything but still peaceful, this one is worth seeing in person.
