Tower B2, Vida Hotel, The Hills
Some places just make you feel like you want to put down your bag and stay for a while. That was pretty much my first thought after stepping into this two bedroom apartment at Vida Hotel in The Hills. You know how some properties have a bit of a hotel vibe and others actually feel more like a real home. This one, honestly, sits right there in the sweet spot. It is right above that line that separates the ordinary from the places you keep thinking about even after you leave.
So the first thing that hit me was the light. You walk in and these floor to ceiling windows really do their job. Even on a not so sunny day it just feels bright and sort of easy. I caught myself just standing for a minute, looking at the view. You have this wide open panorama that covers everything from city lights at night to the green patches of the golf course. That balcony is almost like having a second living room when the weather is good, and it is the kind of spot you start to imagine slow Sundays with coffee or even a small group of friends in the evenings. You get some privacy too, not every balcony gives you that.
You will find the living space is bigger than a lot of newer apartments around The Hills and Vida Hotel. At one thousand six hundred and forty nine square feet, it honestly feels roomy. Not that showroom kind of space either. You could see yourself really living here. There is enough space for a real couch, your kind of artwork, maybe even a piano if you are into that. I ran my hand along the kitchen counter for no particular reason and it actually feels made for someone who cooks instead of someone who just reheats things. You have all the appliances you need and the storage is actually practical. Think more space for snacks and baking trays and less of the usual crammed feeling you get elsewhere.
Both bedrooms are tucked away nicely so they feel a bit separate from the main area. Each one gets its own bathroom which is underrated if you have guests or kids. It is the good kind of en-suite setup too, meaning you do not hear what is happening in the other room. And the windows in these rooms let you wake up with sunlight, which is always a plus if you ask me. You will also notice the bathrooms feel really modern, clean, but not cold either. I opened a closet to check if it was just for show but it goes back deeper than you expect. So storage definitely will not be a problem, even if you have a bit of a shopping habit.
Another thing you notice is how quiet it is, even though you are in a busy part of Dubai. Some evenings you can hear the low buzz from the Vida Hotel but honestly it is never bothersome. Plus if you like being close to things, this is one of those locations where you never really need to stress about getting around. The coffee shop is pretty much downstairs, the pool is a quick elevator ride away, and you get access to all that Vida Hotel lifestyle. Gym, breakfast spots, walkways around the community with that leafy, relaxed feel you do not always find in Dubai. On weekends you will see families with strollers, sometimes kids riding their bikes just near the building entrance. The atmosphere is not stuffy at all, sort of a blend of business people and regular folks who like the easy life.
One thing to mention, the apartment comes unfurnished so you can really make it yours. No need to deal with someone else's style, and you decide on everything from the sofa to the art. The layout means you are not stuck with any weird corners or wasted space either. It is just laid out so you can actually live your version of comfortable here.
Honestly, seeing an apartment in real life is the only way to get that feeling if it is right for you. If you want to walk through, have a chat, or even just ask me about the neighborhood, reach out any time. At LuxuryProperty dot com we want your next place to feel like home from the start.
