Soho Palm Jumeirah, Palm Jumeirah
Some places just feel like a change of pace the second you walk in. This one bedroom apartment at Soho Palm really does that for me every time. You open the door right onto these big, airy spaces with soft light coming in around the corners. There is something about the way everything is set up that just feels easy. You know those apartments where it seems like someone actually thought about how you'd live here day to day Well this is one of those. The living area just flows together with the kitchen. Nothing gets in your way and honestly if you like to actually cook this kitchen feels welcoming. Not just somewhere to microwave takeout. The appliances are set right into the countertops and there is storage wherever you look so you will never feel cluttered.
The balcony is something you might stop on just to look out for a minute. Palm Jumeirah views stretch along the skyline and sometimes you can see boats moving on the water or just kids hanging out down at Palm West Beach. The beach is private for the residents so you can actually just wander down with a towel and a book anytime you want. And after all that heat it is nice to come back upstairs to the rooftop pool. From up there the city looks a little farther away and the world feels quieter for a while. There is a sauna and steam room when you feel like slowing down even more. Some folks just stay up top for the evening to watch the sun dip down.
I have to say the bedroom here is one of the coziest I have seen especially for a one bed place. The built in wardrobes actually have enough room for more than just a few shirts. Plus being fully furnished with everything ready means you do not have to think much about moving in. The furniture has this neutral modern style and nothing feels flashy but it is all comfortable. You will notice there are two bathrooms which sounds like a small thing but makes all the difference if you ever have friends over or just want a bit more space for yourself in the mornings.
The building itself was designed by Naga Architects and you can feel that someone with a real eye for spaces wanted the place to look sharp but also work for people living real lives. Every apartment here is a bit different from the next one so you do not get that cookie cutter feeling. And the whole development sits right on the western edge of Palm Jumeirah close to all the restaurants and coffee shops. I have walked down to Palm West Beach myself just for a coffee in the morning and it is honestly one of the easiest places to get that holiday feel in Dubai. If you like a sense of community Soho Palm is still small enough that you might actually get to know your neighbours. Even so there is always space to yourself if you want it. The car park downstairs makes coming and going basically effortless.
At sixteen thousand dirhams a month you get a fair bit for your money considering everything is finished and ready to go and this side of Palm Jumeirah rarely has homes that feel this welcoming straight away. Soho Palm is the kind of address you can say casually and people know you are talking about somewhere different. It is calm but never dead quiet. You are right by the best bits of Palm Jumeirah plus the private beach never feels crowded.
If you are thinking of a new place and want something that just feels sorted without being over the top this could be the one. Best thing is you can really only know after seeing it for yourself. If you have any questions or feel like walking through to see how it feels let me know. At LuxuryProperty.com we always try to make your next move a simple one.
