Some homes really surprise you before you even step through the door. This one bedroom duplex at SLS Dubai Hotel and Residences feels like that. The elevator doors open up somewhere high above the city and before you even get to the apartment you kind of know you are in for something different. I've been in a lot of places around Business Bay and honestly not many have this sort of openness. You get these tall ceilings that make the living area feel big and easy to breathe in. More relaxing.

The building itself is what you would expect from SLS which pretty much means top service and everything looks smart and clean all the time. You will probably want to check out the pool because it really is as good as people say. You get all those hotel amenities right under you so spa day or gym session is only one elevator trip away. There is a certain feeling of having everything you need without really leaving home which is pretty rare in Dubai even in places like Business Bay. If you get bored there are restaurants in the building and you can try something different every week and never have to go far. Plus if you want coffee or just a walk the Dubai Canal and a couple of nice cafes are not too far outside.

What I love about this spot in Business Bay is how close you are to everything. You can get to Downtown Dubai fast and Dubai Mall is not far either if you just want to pop in and out. Even getting to DIFC is quick if you have meetings or want to grab dinner somewhere different. And the best thing is you come home to this place where things slow down for a bit. You sometimes see people just relaxing on their balconies or heading out for an evening run which tells you it is a good place to be.
