Sometimes you walk into a place and just know it feels right for you. That is what happened when I stepped into this one bedroom apartment in Executive Residences at Dubai Hills Estate. It actually has this easy calm to it that you do not get everywhere in Dubai. You know how some spaces are just all beige on beige with hard chairs and it feels like you are in a hotel lobby instead of a home Well this one surprised me. The gear and colors feel thoughtfully chosen but still easy. There is this big window in the main living room area and honestly when you sit there the sunlight sort of catches everything. Some afternoons I feel like time even slows down for a second. 

This place is furnished and not with those stiff rental pieces either. There is a couch you will probably nap on even if you do not mean to a coffee table you will want to fill with books a proper dining spot that gets some natural light so breakfasts actually turn into conversations. Kitchen is right there next to it so you can talk to someone while you make a quick coffee or something a little bigger. It just feels like somewhere you would cook for real. The appliances have got that solid reliable look. Everything works and there is space for all your food and kitchen gear and you will notice even small things like the light switches are in smart places. 

That bedroom is probably my favorite part. There is a nice peaceful feeling when you walk in and you just want to flop onto the bed. There is lots of storage space and the bedding is soft the kind where you wake up rested. That window in there means you start every day with sunlight and a bit of the green outside plus at night it really gets quiet so if you are someone who likes sleep this place definitely helps. The bathroom is en suite of course and feels new. The finishes are modern but not cold and you get the impression that a real person designed it not just someone ticking a box. There is a good shower and enough room for all your things and it really does have that spa feeling but without being over the top.

One of the other things people really ask about in Dubai Hills Estate is the lifestyle. You are right in the middle of Dubai Hills Estate so you get everything close by and you never have to go far for a coffee run or to pick up groceries. There are parks all around and sometimes I have seen kids in the afternoons biking or playing football. The fitness centre on site is proper you do not feel cramped in there. The pool is great and you could swim before or after work then just relax on a lounger with a book. The gardens are probably the best local touch for me. You will see people out with their kids or just walking in the evenings and it is peaceful. Security is always at the door but in a friendly way it feels like everyone watches out for each other. The whole place feels safe and well looked after.

Some people worry about easy parking or whether the taxi comes on time here. Honestly things just work. You do not really have those little stresses every day and that is a relief. You also get a built up area of about six hundred fifty two square feet. So if you are moving up from a studio or from another area you are really getting a jump in space without losing that cosiness. Rented places sometimes feel temporary but this one could be a real home for someone.

I know a lot of people want to know about price and this is rented out at one hundred thirty five thousand AED for the year. For Dubai Hills Estate with all the amenities and the furnished setup and the quality of life here honestly it feels fair.
