Emaar Beachfront, Dubai Harbour
Some places carry this kind of hush when you walk in. This one bedroom apartment at Emaar Beachfront in Dubai Harbour has that kind of feeling. I remember stepping out onto the balcony and taking a minute to just breathe in, eyes going straight to that full on sea view. There is something about that view and all the natural light flooding in through those floor to ceiling windows. It makes you want to sit down for a bit and notice the different shades of the water changing through the morning.
The apartment itself is fresh and honestly still smells new. No one else has ever lived here. You get the nice feeling of knowing that you will be the first to wake up in this bedroom, watch the city start up in the distance and the sky brighten over the sea. The living area connects right into the kitchen and that kitchen is not one of those afterthoughts. It is fully fitted and everything is modern. The space feels like you could actually cook here and not just heat something up. One thing I liked—the kitchen sort of blends into the dining and living space, so if you are having friends over you are never really cut off. You can be stirring something on the stove and chatting, or just grabbing a glass of something while watching whatever is on TV.
A big thing here is the windows. The light just does something to your mood, honestly. You notice it in every room, but it hits hardest when you stand by the glass and the morning comes in. It is brighter than most places I have been to in this area. Plus the view is not just a sliver—it really is that wide open sea right in front. Hard not to stare.
The balcony is larger than you expect, runs from the living room to the bedroom. There is even access from both, so your mornings could start with a cup of coffee outside, maybe slippers on, looking at the horizon. At the end of the day you could sit out, listen to some music, and feel like you are away from everything, even while you are in Dubai. Sometimes you hear the faint call of seagulls and actually forget your phone for a while.
The bedroom is quiet and peaceful. Window almost the size of a wall, same view as the living room. Even the bathroom, which is modern and done to a really nice standard—clean lines, light colors—sort of keeps up that calm feeling that runs through the whole apartment. Not a huge space but it does not feel cramped at all. And the bedroom has plenty of room to add a small desk or another chair if you wanted. Feels open.
Now, Emaar Beachfront itself is one of those communities where people actually use the facilities. The pool downstairs is temperature controlled—so you can swim when it is hot out or even a bit cooler. Fitness suite is impressive and actually has equipment you are likely to use, not just for show. There is a BBQ area too, which makes weekends easy. You probably will not go a week without meeting friends or neighbors down there. The real treat though is the private beach. Honestly it is different from most other places because it is never too busy, and you always have a spot. Sometimes you see people heading out early with paddleboards or just sitting out for sunrise.
And when you want something a bit more buzzing, Dubai Marina is almost around the corner. Coffee shops are never far, there are markets not too long a walk away—living here actually feels easy. Traffic does not really hit you as much as other parts. Evenings are pretty, often with kids riding bikes along the quieter paths.
You could look at all the photos and still not quite get it. Best way is to come and stand here yourself, maybe hold a cup of coffee and see if the sea view feels like home.
