Building 3A, CityWalk Residential, City Walk
Some places just feel like Dubai in a way you cannot quite explain but you know it when you walk in. That is the way I felt walking into this one bedroom apartment in CityWalk Residential at City Walk. There is something about the mixture of all that glass and the city views that makes you stop for a second. You kind of forget you are this close to Downtown Dubai and DIFC. The air feels open. You get flooded with beautiful sunlight even if you are in there during a cloudy spell which does not happen too often in Dubai, to be honest.
One of my favorite things here is how the floor plan actually makes sense. Seriously. It is not one of those showy apartments that photographs well but nobody really wants to hang out in. Everything flows together the way it should. The living space feels just right for a mix of movie nights at home or gatherings with friends. And if you are like me and want a space that can shift with your routines or moods, this apartment lets you do that. The built up area is one thousand three hundred and eighty four square feet, so you can easily have a dining table, a comfortable sofa, a bit of greenery, and it still will not feel crowded. It is perfect if you want a one bedroom apartment in Dubai where you will not be bumping into things all the time.
The apartment is unfurnished which, honestly, is sometimes a relief. You get a space that is a clean canvas. I could see a bookshelf by the window, maybe even a reading corner with one of those floor lamps that throws good light. The living area just makes it easy to imagine your own things fitting in. The windows are truly huge. I paused just to look out for a while and noticed birds swooping down on the trees below and the city breathing below you. It is one of the reasons why being up a few floors in Dubai feels so good, you get a sense of space that is rare this central.
The kitchen is definitely not an afterthought either. It feels like a place where you would want to cook. If you appreciate a proper meal instead of just reheating something quick there is enough room to do that here. The countertops are smooth and the built in cabinetry is sturdy with plenty of storage. Appliances look solid by Dubai rental standards. I could see anyone enjoying a lazy Sunday breakfast here with music playing in the background.
The bathroom is modern and clean almost like a private spa. The lines are simple. Nothing too fussy. There is enough room to get ready in peace on a busy weekday morning and you will not be tripping over things. The master bedroom itself is large for a one bed. What I liked is that it gets even quieter the deeper you go in. Some apartments in City Walk are close to the main street so you hear everything but not here. The built in wardrobes mean your clothes actually have somewhere to live which is handy if you do not want your new space looking messy.
Living in this City Walk apartment you are in the heart of one of Dubai's best communities and everyone knows it. Step outside and you are a few minutes from Al Wasl Road or Sheikh Zayed Road so the commute literally could not be easier. Every kind of coffee shop and restaurant you could want is downstairs. People jog here in the morning. You spot families walking in the evenings. There is always something happening but as soon as you come upstairs you feel like you are in your own bubble.
Residents have access to a full gym which is more than just a treadmill and a mirror. The pool looks out over the city which somehow makes even quick laps after work feel better. The lobby feels warm and familiar. The security team will probably greet you by name after a few weeks.
The only way to know if this one bedroom apartment in City Walk really feels like home is to come see it for yourself. If you want to chat about daily life here or you are thinking about making a move soon let me know. At LuxuryProperty.com, we are always here so your next decision feels comfortable and clear.
