Burj Vista 1, Burj Vista, Downtown Dubai
Some places just make you want to slow down right from the start. This one bedroom at Burj Vista really does that for me. You step off the Boulevard and up into the building and almost forget you are right in the heart of Downtown Dubai. Sometimes I just linger in the lobby before even heading upstairs. It's easy to forget the Burj Khalifa basically sits across the street and you have all the energy of Dubai Mall or the Opera District buzzing nearby.
Coming into the apartment itself, the first thing you notice is the space. Honestly it feels larger than most one bedrooms around. The living and dining area gets this amazing natural light through the floor to ceiling windows. I just stood there the first time, caught in that view that pours in. If you are a morning person you get actual sunshine lighting up the flat. Even at night the city glows outside in a way that reminds you just how close you are to everything. You can sit back on the couch and the world seems a bit further away.
The kitchen is semi closed which I like. It manages to keep cooking smells out of the living space but still feels connected if you like having friends over. I opened up a few cupboards and there is proper storage space, not just token shelving. Everything's finished really nicely too and you get a full size fridge plus the stove and a dishwasher ready to go. It's just easy to imagine actually cooking a meal here instead of just relying on takeaway every night. But if you do, let's be honest, the options downstairs and around the Boulevard are hard to beat.
The bedroom looks out at the same view and has direct access to this really big balcony. You can wake up, wander straight outside with your coffee and watch the city wake up around you. I spent a while just leaning on the railing up there, taking it all in. You get the Boulevard view which never really gets old and sometimes you'll catch bits of birdsong in the early mornings before the city really wakes up. Inside the bedroom, there are built in wardrobes so storage does not become a headache and the en suite bathroom is proper, not just an afterthought. The bathtub is a nice touch if you like long soaks at the end of a busy week.
Honestly one thing that has always made Burj Vista stand out to me is how much attention they give to the amenities. There is so much space downstairs on the podium level and it actually gets used. The pool is large enough you are not bumping elbows with everyone and the gym has a serious setup so you never feel like you are cutting corners on your workout. The outdoor and indoor play areas for children are actually thought out and not just stuck in a corner somewhere. If you have friends with kids or you just like seeing families around, it is lively and feels comfortable. I've even seen a few barbecues or tennis matches going in the evenings which brings a bit of community to the place.
Getting in and out is just as simple. The building is right on Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard so you are never far from something. If you want to wander over to the Dubai Mall you just stroll out and take the direct link to the Mall and Metro. No stress about parking or traffic. The Dubai Opera and the fountains are practically your neighbors. I have walked this whole area at different times of day and there is always something going on. Sometimes you catch families out for ice cream in the evening or people jogging in the early mornings before it gets warm.
At the end of the day, the only way to really know if it feels right is to come see it for yourself. If you have any questions or just want to walk through, just reach out whenever works for you. Here at LuxuryProperty.com, we'll always do our best to make your next move easy and comfortable.
