4 bedroom apartment in 23 Marina, Dubai Marina

Sometimes you walk into a home and just pause for a bit. That was me with this four bedroom duplex penthouse in 23 Marina right in the middle of Dubai Marina. It is up on a high floor so you feel a little above it all. Honestly the first thing that hits you is the view. I just stood by the tall windows looking out for a while. You get nothing but blue sea stretching out with the Marina below, and you can even spot Sheikh Zayed Road in the backdrop. If you love that open horizon feeling, where every morning starts with sunlight and every evening you see the city lights shimmer out across the water, this place gets it just right.

Space is the other big thing here. There is over five thousand six hundred square feet which, to be honest, feels much bigger once you are actually walking around. There is a double height ceiling as you come in and the open plan living area kind of invites you to take your time. Some places just feel closed in once you bring in a bit of furniture, but this one would still have that easy spacious feeling even if you move in with a whole family. I could imagine a dinner with friends in the dining room and people still having space to wander over and watch the lights outside. You get all these thoughtful details too, like a private elevator within the apartment. That's not something you see every day and it is one of those things you do not realise you will love until you have it. No more waiting in the corridors or awkward elevator chats with neighbours when you are in a hurry.

The kitchen is what caught my eye. It just feels ready for real life, not just some photos. There is a breakfast bar that actually feels like it would get used, maybe for coffee in the morning before work or lazy weekend pancakes with the kids. There is even a maid's room so if you need extra help around the house, or just somewhere to store all the beach gear, you are set. And yes, you get private beach access. That is not something you find every day in Dubai Marina. Sometimes you just want to walk straight from your door to the sand without weaving through the crowds on the public beaches. Outside of the apartment, 23 Marina does a lot to make life easy too. The pools, both indoor and outdoor, are good for both the super hot and those lovely breezy days. I saw a few people down in the games room when I visited, just hanging out. Jacuzzis for when you want to unwind and a play area for kids that is actually in view which helps when you want to stay close by with a coffee. You will run into people coming back from the promenade, and you can sense the marina community feel. Dubai Marina is never boring. World class restaurants are only a stroll away, coffee shops stay open late, and I have seen families with strollers in the evenings heading out to the beach at JBR. You never feel stuck at home because everything is just a few minutes off your doorstep.

Parking is fine too. Two spaces of your own means you never have to play musical chairs with your cars which, let's be honest, is a nice little bonus in Dubai. Life feels just that bit easier.
