Balqis Residences, Kingdom of Sheba, Palm Jumeirah
Some places just feel right from the second you come through the door. I had that slow, deep breath sort of feeling when I stepped into this five bedroom villa at Kingdom of Sheba on Palm Jumeirah. You know how some spaces end up feeling like the backdrops in a magazine and never quite feel like home Well, this one is not like that. You can actually imagine kids stretched out on the sofa with homework books tossed everywhere and a lazy afternoon that just drifts by.
The thing I noticed right away is how the sea is always sort of there in the background. The windows do a great job of framing the view and honestly, I caught myself just watching the water for a little bit longer than I meant to. On some days, you might find yourself outside with a mug of coffee on the patio or just going for a quick dip in your own pool while the rest of the world carries on somewhere in the distance. Life here is pretty quiet, tucked into a peaceful corner of Palm Jumeirah where it almost feels like you are on a private island though the city itself is just minutes away when you want a bit more energy.
If you are into cooking, you'll like the kitchen. It is not just shiny show home style. It actually feels good to be in there. The open plan living and dining setup just flows well so everything feels easy. You can talk to whoever is hanging out on that big L shaped sofa while you are making something up for dinner. There is even a sofa bed tucked away for when you have a surprise guest or a couple of extra family members who show up with hardly any notice. I have to say, the way the living area opens right up to the pool deck just works. You get the best of inside and outside, especially on those nice days when the sea breeze actually comes through.
One of my favorite little things here is the terrace with a Jacuzzi overlooking the sea. Sometimes you find yourself just soaking and watching the last bit of sunset paint the sky. There is space for family barbecues as well, which I have seen get real popular around here especially when the football is on and friends start dropping by.
You will find a few bonus parts of this villa that most people honestly do not expect. There is a basement that you can turn into a games room or a small cinema if you want somewhere for movie nights or those marathon gaming sessions. Plus, separate rooms for help is a detail that just makes life smoother for bigger families who need it. There is even extra parking and security on site so you do not have to stress too much about practical stuff.
Living in Palm Jumeirah, especially in Kingdom of Sheba, means that you have basically got the best of Dubai on your doorstep. Some of the best restaurants are close. Shopping is never really a chore with Nakheel Mall nearby. Atlantis is just a short drive away so if you have young ones who love the waterpark, you might be visiting a lot. Evenings, you sometimes see kids biking along the paths or neighbors catching up on their way back from the beach. The feeling around here is friendly but never too busy.
I will say, this villa is completely unfurnished right now which might sound like more work. But what it really means is that you get to shape every corner for your family from scratch. Pick the colors and make it feel like your own. The space is big, really open, nearly ten thousand square feet of it, but not overwhelming. Standing out on that patio you can almost imagine a big family breakfast or a quiet evening with just the sound of the sea.
What is hard to get from photos or words is just the calm this place has. That steady quiet you hear when the air is still. The only way to know if that is your thing is to come and see it in person. If you have questions or want to stop by and walk through, just get in touch. At LuxuryProperty dot com we always try to help you find a home that just feels right when you need it most.
