The first time I saw it I spent a good while by the window trying to see all the way up the Burj Khalifa. You really do get those views here. Sometimes the clouds roll in low and the whole skyline gets a bit misty. At night it is something else entirely with all the city lights making the place feel alive but also peaceful when you are up here.

The pool is sort of tucked away so you do not get the city noise which I found really relaxing the last time I stopped by. The Dubai Opera is just around the corner sometimes you hear music floating out if you are walking in the evenings. Dubai Mall is not far and you can always find a street side coffee shop or somewhere new to eat. Kids are often out biking or people walk their dogs around.
