Some places really do just feel like home even when you have only stepped in for the first time. That is kind of how it felt the last time I walked into this one bedroom apartment right in the middle of the Azizi Riviera community in Meydan. Light spills through the big windows so you do not have that boxed in feeling you get in some city apartments. The place is actually vacant which means you could literally move in tomorrow if you wanted to and there is something nice about that. You get to make it yours from day one.

You will notice how the apartment has that mix of being quite modern but at the same time it just feels easy to live in. Some new places try too hard but not this one. The living area seems bigger than it looks on paper and actually it is pretty comfortable. Sometimes kids are riding bikes in the evening and it does bring a nice neighbourhood feel unlike some places in the city where you never really meet your neighbours.

Something worth mentioning about living in Meydan is that you are honestly never far from what you need. You can get to Downtown or Business Bay pretty quickly if you are working or just want to check out the restaurants and shopping. Even if you like heading out for coffee or running little errands it is all on your doorstep here. I always like to mention that it is not one of those places where you have to drive for ages just to pick up groceries or grab a coffee with friends. Life feels more connected just because of where you are.

It is not the loudest or flashiest apartment in Dubai but that is kind of what makes it work. If you are a young professional starting out or a couple wanting a base that is simple but comfortable and right in the heart of things this spot is worth checking out. The rent is fair for Meydan and you get all the benefits of a new building along with the lifestyle that comes with it.
