Some apartments just invite you to slow down for a second before you even step inside. This two bedroom place at DAMAC Towers by Paramount in Business Bay gave me that feeling the last time I visited. I got out of the lift and actually paused just to look at the view even before I reached the door. When you are up on these higher floors, the view out across Dubai and down to the Creek is almost legendary. Especially around sunset when the light changes everything and you just want to stay by the window for an extra five minutes. The feeling of space is one of the first things that hit me and honestly it is not just the floor area, though you get about thirteen hundred and eighty seven square feet to play with here. The design brings a lot of natural light to every corner and it is the kind of place where the living room feels like a real place to spend time instead of just somewhere you put the sofa.
It is funny because sometimes the photos make a flat look bigger than it feels but in this apartment, it is the other way around. It actually feels more open and relaxed when you are inside. I stood in the living room and caught myself just looking out for a bit doing nothing else. Mornings here would be pretty special, coffee at the window with the city starting to wake up and maybe you lose your phone for a moment just enjoying it. The kitchen is open plan which is how a lot of people like it these days and it actually feels like it has been laid out for people who cook real meals, not just reheat and run. The way it flows into the living space makes having friends over really easy because no one gets left out and you can chat while sorting out food. Both bedrooms let in a ton of natural light and to me that always cheers up any space. There is just something about waking up with sunshine already in the room instead of flicking on a lamp first thing.
I always keep an eye out for the details that matter day to day. The bathrooms have a kind of quiet luxury going on, premium fixtures and finishes but nothing too flashy. The apartment is vacant so you will not need to wait if you want to move in. Plus, everything has just been fully upgraded so you really feel that fresh new start when you walk in. The fact that it is unfurnished actually works in your favour most of the time because you get to put your mark on the place from the start and you do not have to live with furniture you did not pick out.
Parking is sorted as well which, being honest, is a lifesaver in Business Bay. You get your own space so there is no hunting around at the end of a long day. Downstairs has a great gym and the swimming pool has one of those skyline views people in Dubai daydream about when they are at work. I pictured coming back in the evening for a swim with the city lights bouncing on the water. It just feels easy living here. Around DAMAC Towers by Paramount, you are in the middle of Business Bay but somehow it does not get overwhelming. Shops and coffee spots are right downstairs and some actually open early which can be rare in the city. There is something nice about grabbing a proper cup of coffee before the rush starts.
Location wise, you are a couple minutes from Sheikh Zayed Road so getting to Downtown Dubai or even Dubai Marina is simple. You see people walking in the area, bit of life on the street but still secure and comfortable. Some weekends you just end up staying local because everything you need is nearby.
