PRIVE BY DAMAC (A), Damac Maison Prive, Business Bay
There is something about walking into a place high above the city that just gives you a different perspective. This one bedroom apartment at Damac Maison Prive in Business Bay is a good example of that. I honestly found myself standing by the window for a while before I did anything else. Maybe it is the way the skyline stretches right in front of you or maybe it is just the natural light bouncing off the floors. Sometimes you just forget you are right in the heart of Dubai.
It is furnished and you can feel that right away. The sofa feels like it was actually meant for curling up at the end of the day. Sometimes in these new towers things feel a little staged but not here. You can tell someone cared about making it comfortable. I noticed this in the living area first. It is open and bright but it does not feel cold at all which can sometimes be the case with modern places in Business Bay. The sunlight in the afternoon is honestly great. I just stood there for a second and listened to the muffled hum of city life below. You do get plenty of space to have friends over but it is just as nice if you are on your own. It really does not feel boxed in.
And the bed. If you are like me and pay attention to that sort of thing you will be happy. It's got a really soft mattress and the linens actually feel like they belong in a boutique hotel. The bedroom is set up so you have enough room for your clothes plus a few extra bits and there are deep closets you can actually use. Sometimes you find that is not always the case in these furnished apartments. I think if you want a place you could recharge in after a busy week this works.
The kitchen is more than just for looks as well. It is fully equipped so you do not have to worry about buying a bunch of extras. The cupboards are good and deep. The appliances are proper brands and the counters are easy to keep clean. I kept picturing someone making a coffee in the morning and standing by the window just looking out at the Dubai Canal. Honestly you could put together a proper meal here or just heat up something from one of the places down the street. And there are a lot of places nearby where you will find yourself grabbing takeout or a breakfast bite on the weekends. That is one of the nice things about Business Bay. It feels busy but you can always find a tucked away cafe when you want it.
One of the things people always ask about is the amenities and I would say they are spot on. There is a gym that is actually usable and not just for show. You will find a pool that gets just enough sun but is quiet enough for a swim or just floating for a bit. There is also a spa downstairs which is a nice touch for the days when you really want to unwind. And the whole place feels safe. The staff downstairs know people by name which I think makes a difference. On weekends you can just walk out and everything in Downtown is basically there. Dubai Mall is a few minutes away, so is the Metro, and even if you work in DIFC or need to get on Sheikh Zayed, it all feels easy from here.
You will see families sometimes coming in and out and in the evenings you catch the sunset over the water. If you like a bit of city buzz but want somewhere peaceful to come home to, this place really works. The fact that it is ready to move in is just another plus.
I always think that you only really know if somewhere fits once you walk through so if you want to come have a look or just ask a few questions, get in touch anytime. At LuxuryProperty.com we want to make things feel simple for you, so reach out whenever it suits you.
