Collective 2.0 Tower A, Collective 2.0, Dubai Hills Estate
Sometimes a place just surprises you with how light everything feels. That is the first thing that really got me when I stepped into this two bedroom apartment up in Collective 2.0 at Dubai Hills Estate. Up here on a high floor you catch the city from a fresh angle. It is not just the views that stand out either. As soon as you walk in there is this big open space and all the daylight is coming in through the full height windows so you almost have to pause for a second. Sometimes you forget your phone and just look out for a bit. There is a good amount of room to actually spread out and live how you want.
The layout is clever. The kitchen faces the living area and it does not feel separated off in its own corner. You can see everything even if you are just grabbing a midnight snack or hosting friends over for coffee and a movie. I always check for these small touches and honestly the kitchen here feels like somewhere you might really cook, not just heat something up. And right outside you have the dining and lounge area which blend together pretty naturally. You can imagine chats flowing from the sofa to the breakfast table without feeling like you are stuck in one section all the time. It just feels easy.
Both bedrooms are settled away from the main living area so there's a bit more peace. You will notice big windows in each of them that open up to more views over the city and the greens below. Some mornings you might get up early and just sit by the window with a cup of tea. It is genuinely a nice way to start the day. Each bedroom has built in wardrobes so finding space for your things will not be an issue. Sometimes apartments disappoint, with pokey rooms or not enough storage, but here it all fits together. I would say both rooms actually feel like places you would want to stay in, especially at night with the city lights scattered in front of you. The bathrooms are done in a clean, modern style, nothing too fussy, and they work well for either relaxing in the bath or just getting ready quickly on a busy morning.
The vibe in Collective 2.0 is younger and pretty relaxed. Downstairs, you have a gym that actually makes working out feel inviting. Not everyone uses the gym in their building, but this one gets used, partly because you can look out over the gardens below and partly because it is just convenient. Same goes for the swimming pool. Being temperature controlled means you are swimming pretty much all year round. Sometimes you see people reading by the pool even if they are not swimming. The gardens outside offer this small slice of green where you can stretch your legs or let the kids run off a bit of energy. It is quiet enough that you might hear birds in the morning and by evening you see neighbors catching up on their days.
Living at Dubai Hills Estate in Collective 2.0 comes with a few everyday perks I liked. You can get to the Mall or the Park in a short drive. If you have kids, the schools are close so no long commutes. Even the hospital is just down the road. And if you need to head to Sheikh Zayed or Al Khail Road, they are both just a turn or two away. Plus you are never far from a coffee shop or a spot to pick up groceries.
Honestly you get a sense here that it is not overcomplicated. It is just good city living with some extra comfort. If you are looking for a place that feels open without being too flashy and you want everything within easy reach, this two bedroom apartment might be right. The best way to know is always to see it for yourself. If you want to walk through or have any questions at all, just let me know.
