Al Mesk Tower, Dubai Marina
Sometimes you walk into an apartment and it just feels like it has its own way of slowing you down. That is exactly what happened to me when I first stepped into this furnished converted two bedroom at Al Mesk Tower in Dubai Marina. The light in here is really something and you catch yourself standing by the window just watching the boats go by in the marina without even thinking about the time. In Dubai things are always a bit fast so finding a place that gives you a sense of calm is rare honestly.
This apartment actually started out as a one bedroom with a study but you can tell someone really thought about how to use the space. The study has been neatly turned into a proper second bedroom and it does not feel like some makeshift fix. That makes it a great choice if you need an extra room for a little one or maybe even a decent home office where you can close the door when you need to focus. The main bedroom is ensuite so you can just roll out of bed in the morning and wander in for a shower without bumping into anyone.
The living and dining area feels even bigger than you would expect and not in that echoey way either. There is a proper sense of flow straight through to the balcony which looks right over the water. I actually spent a few minutes just leaning over the railing watching the sun hit the water and listening to the city noise blend into the background. If you want to have breakfast outside or just sip a coffee looking at the yachts this is one of the few places where you can actually relax and do that without feeling totally on display.
The kitchen is open and fitted with what you need but the thing that stands out is it feels like somewhere you might actually cook a meal not just heat up leftovers. Plus the layout connects you with whoever is in the living room or even out on the balcony so you never feel cut off from everyone else. Little details like the finishes and the furniture just add to that feeling that everything is in its right place but you are not scared to put your feet up on the couch either.
One small thing I noticed that really makes life easier is the guest bathroom with a full shower. If you have friends staying over or just need a bit of extra room to get ready in the morning it really does make a difference. You can also tell the building is well looked after and you get things like proper visitor parking which saves you a load of hassle if people come by.
Outside the apartment the community has a lot to offer. You can walk straight down to Dubai Marina Walk where there are coffee shops and little boutiques plus spots to sit out and watch everyone go about their day. Sometimes you see families on bikes or kids playing in the evenings. If you are the sort who enjoys a bit of fitness there are two gyms right in Al Mesk Tower along with a lap pool at Angasane Spa. Sometimes you get to the pool and it feels like you are on holiday even if you have emails waiting. Kids have their own pools and play areas which is a relief for parents. It makes the whole place feel much more like a little neighbourhood and less like just another tower block.
Transport is honestly about as easy as it gets here. There is a tram and metro station close by so if you need to get into work quickly you do not have to stress about traffic every morning. Plus if you are the sort who likes to get out on the weekend the marina berths make it simple to hop onto a boat for a day out on the water.
This converted two bedroom apartment at Al Mesk Tower just feels ready and waiting for someone to make it home. It suits so many different kinds of people. Maybe you are an expat starting out or a couple needing a bit of extra space or someone who just wants to step into a move in ready place where things just work. Honestly the best way to know if it is right for you is to see it for yourself. If you want to ask questions or just want a simple walk through let me know. At LuxuryProperty.com we want your next move to feel as easy and comfortable as it should.
