Parkway Vistas, Dubai Hills Estate
Some homes just make you slow down before you even walk inside. This five bedroom villa in Parkway Vistas, Dubai Hills Estate, does exactly that. The street is quiet and broad, plenty of green all around, and you can almost hear the breeze running through the trees. You stand outside for a bit and there's something calm about the whole place, even with the city not far off at all.
Step through these real double doors and the first thing you'll see is how much open space there is. Honestly it feels like everything's bigger here, but not in a try hard way. The living lounge stretches right out toward those tall windows so that light pours in everywhere. In the evening the sun hits just right and you get this golden haze through the room. From a few spots you actually catch a glimpse of the Burj Khalifa in the distance. You'll probably want to stand there for a minute. If you're someone who likes to work from home or just needs a spot to handle paperwork, the villa has its own office. It's the kind of space you can actually picture yourself getting things done in, not just a tiny nook with a desk. The guest bedroom just down the hall is plush, simple, completely private and the built in wardrobes make it feel tidy straight away.
The kitchen is sort of a highlight for me. It's all clean lines and there's a view of the garden right out the sliding glass. When you're cooking, you can still talk to people sitting outside or watch the kids kicking a ball around on the grass. Sometimes these show kitchens can feel cold or unused but here, you get a sense this could be the heart of the house. Step right out the doors and there is this big courtyard with sofas all set up around a modern fire pit. You imagine late night chats with friends and the smell of something grilling. Not far from here, tucked to the side, is a proper space for your BBQ and an outdoor dining table on the decking. You might only eat inside in summer.
Walk up and you find all the bedrooms have that same big light feeling. The master suite is generous, there's a walk in closet that just feels designed for real living. Sometimes you see houses where everything is on show but here, the storage actually works. Out on the rooftop terrace there's so much space that you almost lose track of time just being up there. It could end up being your sunset spot or even where you bring coffee sometimes in the morning. The villa is fully automated by the way. Bits like air con and lights are easy with the touch of a button but you still have real control, nothing is complicated. I noticed the Schindler elevator is almost silent, which is rare.
Down in the basement is where things get fun. There's room for a gym, or it could be a kind of party space or maybe a big quiet movie zone. There's storage tucked away and apparently a secret room. Plus the pool is a full on twenty meters long and stretches along the side garden. It feels private and just really inviting, especially on hot days. The private courtyard wraps around nicely and at night it lights up so you get this cozy atmosphere. The maid's room is full sized and privately set up so it never feels crowded. Cars are sorted too, plenty of parking, easy in and out.
Dubai Hills Estate is famous for its Championship Golf Course and, honestly, if you play it is almost too convenient. Good restaurants like The Brasserie and The Duck Hook are just down the road and the coffee shop is only a quick walk if you need a break while working from home. Kids play and cycle in the evenings and the new shopping areas mean you don't always have to head into town for errands. Downtown is ten minutes by car and Dubai Marina is about fifteen so if you want restaurants or the beach, they're right there.
Honestly I could keep walking through here and notice more every time. It just feels easy and there's a bit of luxury without being showy. If it sounds interesting, the best thing is to just come and see it. You only really know how these spaces feel when you're standing inside.
