The Springs
Some homes just make you feel a bit more relaxed the second you step through the door. This two bedroom villa in The Springs, Dubai, honestly does that for me. I wandered in one afternoon and the first thing that hit me was this fresh green smell coming from outside, like the trees and gardens have crept in a little bit. It is not what people picture when they think about Dubai. Green everywhere you look. Birds making racket in the early evening, kids darting to the playground across the road, a couple of families setting up for a barbecue under a big tree. The Springs is one of those places people talk about quietly, almost a bit protective like they know something that newcomers do not. You are never far from a path where you can walk or just stop and look at one of the lakes. I remember standing by the community pool watching someone teaching their child to swim. Felt miles away from the city even though Dubai Marina is just up the road.
The villa itself, let me say, has a really nice flow. It is a genuine two bedroom but you also get a proper study downstairs which is handy if you work at home or just want a spot for your books and laptop. The living room gets loads of light and there are big glass doors that take you straight out to the garden. There is a semi closed kitchen that actually feels like you would cook in it. I know that can sound a bit strange but sometimes these kitchens are all show and nowhere to even put a kettle. Here, you have space, and being able to chat to someone in the dining area while you cook just feels natural.
The bedrooms both have their own balconies which is something people do not always expect. It is kind of nice early in the morning when the sun has just come up. Makes you want to stand there with coffee for a minute and listen to nothing. Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom, which makes sharing a home much easier if you have kids or guests. There is even a guest toilet downstairs and a proper laundry room tucked away instead of being squeezed into a corner. That is rare for villas at this price in The Springs.
One thing I noticed, you are literally across from the community area so if you have kids or you just like being social you will probably find yourself making new friends all the time. You can just see the playground from the front and there is a walking track that circles the gardens and takes you past barbecue spots, the outdoor gym, and even a basketball court. I saw people stop for chats there at sunset, sweaters over their shoulders, just wandering home. The townhouses are all low rise and set apart by these lawns and hedges. Even on busy days, it feels spacious here and kind of private too.
Location wise, you really do have things within reach. The Springs Souk is a quick hop in the car, so grabbing a coffee or picking up groceries is never a hassle. From the main gate, nurseries and schools are around ten minutes away and there is an entire sports complex that is always buzzing in the afternoons with teams coming and going. If you do need to head into Dubai Marina or across to Downtown it is pretty easy because the roads from Emirates Living are set up well.
If you are thinking of a move into somewhere that actually feels like a home, not just another unit, I think this one deserves a look. The place is well maintained, the community is quiet but busy in all the right ways, and sometimes you almost forget your phone for an afternoon. The only way to know if it feels right is to come and see it. If you just want to chat about the place or have a walk through, reach out to me any time. At LuxuryProperty.com, we try to make your next move feel as comfortable as possible.
